  1. Just for peoples future reference, I spoke to the MOT guy, and he said if it isn't working at all, it's fine, it's only if it's working but less than 50% will it be a fail...
  2. Yep, passed :-) Never mentioned it....
  3. cheers graham, have been googling it to death, but every opinion seems to conflict! I presume they mentioned it because one of the other 2 wasn't working, so it only had two, i'll leave it on, the MOT place is only 100 yards from my house, so can easily just pop it back if i need to remove it or something... I keep hearing 'if it is present it must be working', that's why i was thinking of removing it? It's very obvious it is there, blue car, and black/clear light housing...
  4. It's not a zed question, but was hoping more people may see it here! I've just done some work for a friend on a Mk2 Clio, it failed on a bunch of things, including off side brake light out, and centre high level not working. Now, the centre high level is a sealed LED unit, which is 30 odd quid + VAT, if the other 2 brake lights are working, will it still fail? Is it a case of 'if it is there it has to be working'? Can I just take it out and leave a hole there for the MOT? Cover it up with gaffer tape? It's booked in for tomorrow, just wondering if it'll pass! Cheers, Tudor...
  5. I might just remove it from the spoiler and leave the hole there...

  7. :gun_bandana: :ban: :death: At least I can weld Mr upside down :cool3: :whistling:
  8. Mate, I am seriously impressed! Quality work, your welds are spot on, I find it really hard not to blow holes even on the lowest setting, brilliant work...
  9. maybe he cut his fingers whilst fitting em :)
  10. you haven't got the plug mixed up with the dett sensor plug have you? they are both the same (just clutching at straws here!)
  11. could be a wiring issue then? was the sensor you put in new or a know good one? all the connections clean? (i'm sure you would've checked that tho matey)
  12. have you reset the codes on your ecu? could just be showing the old code, take the battery off for a few hours, then check again mate....
  13. Good work mate, and good luck! It really annoys me too, how a white light be too white?
  14. That's wicked, haha, 1 lonely sausage!
  15. ebay matey, any use? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Boost-Pressure-Map-Sensor-Apexi-AVC-R-HKS-EVC-S-Greddy-/120580140996?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c1322efc4
  16. maybe manky old petrol in it too?
  17. I would double check the PTU connections matey, I had a world of trouble with mine, but could be a few things, also, could be flooded, mine is a pain in the arse to get going after it's flooded, take your plugs out, clean, and replace, also check them for defects too, this is not a very speficially helpful reply, but that's what I would do first....
  18. BigDaveZX, have you got some more pictures of your car and interior? I was thinking about the black/yellow route, but thought it might be a bit much, but yours looks bang on matey! Just added you on bookface too :)
  19. My custom.... http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/ad199/jefftudor/new%20spoiler/IMAG0058.jpg?t=1299114567
  20. That sounds healthy to me matey...
  21. The rear side markers will need to be connected to your numberplate lights, there isn't a plug n' play option... And if you mean you want a side light on your front wing indicators (I presume they are clear), as well as an indicator (I think that's what you mean) then it would just be a feed from your sidelights to a bulb holder, that should work (in theory, can't see why not)...
  22. Ya know what Gary, I think you may have just hit the nail on the head there pal, especially as I bought my loom from california..... Good man :duffer:
