Not a Zed, but....
Just for peoples future reference, I spoke to the MOT guy, and he said if it isn't working at all, it's fine, it's only if it's working but less than 50% will it be a fail...

Yep, passed :-) Never mentioned it....

Not a Zed, but....
cheers graham, have been googling it to death, but every opinion seems to conflict! I presume they mentioned it because one of the other 2 wasn't working, so it only had two, i'll leave it on, the MOT place is only 100 yards from my house, so can easily just pop it back if i need to remove it or something... I keep hearing 'if it is present it must be working', that's why i was thinking of removing it? It's very obvious it is there, blue car, and black/clear light housing...

Not a Zed, but....
It's not a zed question, but was hoping more people may see it here! I've just done some work for a friend on a Mk2 Clio, it failed on a bunch of things, including off side brake light out, and centre high level not working. Now, the centre high level is a sealed LED unit, which is 30 odd quid + VAT, if the other 2 brake lights are working, will it still fail? Is it a case of 'if it is there it has to be working'? Can I just take it out and leave a hole there for the MOT? Cover it up with gaffer tape? It's booked in for tomorrow, just wondering if it'll pass! Cheers, Tudor...

MOT question....
I might just remove it from the spoiler and leave the hole there...

End of the road? or salvageable?
Mate, I am seriously impressed! Quality work, your welds are spot on, I find it really hard not to blow holes even on the lowest setting, brilliant work...

Help will not start
I would double check the PTU connections matey, I had a world of trouble with mine, but could be a few things, also, could be flooded, mine is a pain in the arse to get going after it's flooded, take your plugs out, clean, and replace, also check them for defects too, this is not a very speficially helpful reply, but that's what I would do first....

My custom.... http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/ad199/jefftudor/new%20spoiler/IMAG0058.jpg?t=1299114567- Auto gearbox rev drop
That sounds healthy to me matey...- Rear side markers and front side markers...
The rear side markers will need to be connected to your numberplate lights, there isn't a plug n' play option... And if you mean you want a side light on your front wing indicators (I presume they are clear), as well as an indicator (I think that's what you mean) then it would just be a feed from your sidelights to a bulb holder, that should work (in theory, can't see why not)...- What's this plug?
Ya know what Gary, I think you may have just hit the nail on the head there pal, especially as I bought my loom from california..... Good man :duffer: - pics requests , spoilers
