  1. Ive cost me anough money sticking my honk in playing around but i still probly will have a look im waiting for rear link control arm before,i get to test the brakes again put a set of rear pads in aswell for good measure. im hoping that who ever was ment to bleed the clutch didnt have time. and could just need ajusting thou sayin that if you havnt put a new clutch in why would you need to , saying that thou i did put a new clutch master clyinder in and a new slave cylinder in as well so maybe.
  2. not had much time to drive car yet cas when i did drive it over to my brothers garage for mot the first junction when i placed my fooy on the floor the pedal deisapeard and i lost my brakes ,but hey thats been rectified fitting new brakes pipes everywere. But i noticed that althought the clutch wasnt sliping parsay it didnt seem to go into like first gear smooth like i had to dip the clutch again to get it in. When i had some other work done on the car back in the summer, i did aske for the clutch to be bleed but this might well have been missed due to other things going on. and prior to that i replaced the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder and im no machanic so just did what i did but knowing me and trying to do somthing on your own and getting help with someone on the pedal who dont want to be there probly didnt help. so now slipping yet but a bit get in there type of thing. oh and am i right in saying to bleed clutch first at the slave cylinder nip then the under bonnet on the inner wing nip next. any thoughts welcome.cheers
  3. does anyone know what make the wheels are as im just intrested cause i have a set of those and would like to know what there called,
  4. im now running 275 35 18 and i didnt need my arches rolled or anything and they fit and look the muts nuts.
  5. Mine worked but when i changed the front bumper of i just pluged the pipe up, im now glad i did cas my main wash pump stoped working so i just swapped the pipe over so now have screen wash again
  6. Good luck with the project
  7. Started the year blending in the sides of the veilside body kit to the , yes you guessed it the side of the car, after spending what i thought was going to be a day,but it took four and a half days weilding up the sills and floor, now solid. deleated and blanked of the front side indicator out of the front wing and made a new hole and fitted a honda pelude rear bumper light to the front side of the front valence.Got my headlamp striped and got the plastic inserts sent away to be chromed, and whilst i had them open i decided to have a play and put chromed amber indicator bulbs in them. sent my alloys away to be powder coated in satin black. Relaced all the P.C.V.valve things. Replaced the oil cooler with a new much larger one. deleated and ripped ,sorry took out all the aircon bits pipes rad ect. Fitted a new Front mount intercooler, and after plumming it in the wrong way someone told me the correct way the pipes go on. Fitted a new k a n 12 inch air filter with some custom pipework. In the heat of the summer it took me absolute ages to fit correctly the front veilside valence or front end then bearing the amount of speedbumps around here so i took it on to cut about two inches out the kit and change it quite a bit, but was realy happy with the result. Then quickly weilded a new pieace of stanless into the exhaust. July already and me car was over to Jeffs at Zedworld for a new cam belt and all aux belts, including thermostat and conzult.oh along with a cople bits to correct like me not fitting a gasget correctly to the nearside turbo manifold. that was a expensive mistake. whilst at Jeffs he replaced the brake pipes above the rear diff and replaced the brake master cylinder. Then got the two front tyres Toyo T1 sport 235 40 18.Augast i striped the car ready for a compleat respray. The car is now painted in a loverly three stage metlic lambo orange with satin black parts to match the wheels and rear blacked out lights. This trip home so far ive put on the rear tyres on 275 35 18 toyos proxes of course. it was a gamble, but they fit a treat and look the tits. And last week was over two my brothers garage for mot so got car insured and off i went got down the road tuesday hit the brake and you guessed it ,foot to the floor. So my car up on the ramps the mot bloke said to me wheres the front side lights? so yesterday managed to fit some side lights in the front and wired up my new horns. And because he couldnt do the rolling road brake test cas once again i had no brakes, so the last couple of days have been sloooowly replacing every posible brake line humanly possible to reach and the ones we coulnt apart from the inasesable ones that Jeffs alredy done earyler the year.so monday ill be over to the garage hopefully to fininish it oh and fit some rear brake pads aswell. then finish the mot.Im hopping thats it for this year its being a labour of love and being bloody exspnsive but its been a productive year and just goes to show the love we have to keep this cars on the road and finish thesse long term projects. I might even have time to deleat the hicas compleatly but will proberly be on the first thing on the list i have for next year. Ill leave that list for now. oh and would just like to say a big thanks to all of you , for your comeradery on the threads and all your help and especally your sound advice and opions. It would have been a boaring place to do it alone, and proberly or most likely wouldnt have achived what i have done this year. So heres to the forum and its members a HUGE THANK YOU THANK YOU AND THANK YOU.
  8. i know how you feel thats why its taken me two summers to get the bodykit on mine .id love a garage
  9. droped the osr susension to get to all the diffacult brake pipes that plum in up there.so now after jeff at zedworld doing the rear ones up under the rear diif in july and now nearly fininshed replacing all the cooper brake pipes all over the car.so atleast i know now when i spin up the road the cars going to stop.pics laters. oh and some new rear pads to.
  10. and why your down there just silly thing but check you wheel nuts were all torqued up tight before you take of.just a thought.
  11. I have an idea that i want to do in the spring. i would like to puchase a double din sterio with the norm stuff sat nav ect . And rear parking cam , But i would want to poss change the little cam and position it so its forward facing so i can look at the hight of speed bumps round my way and then laters moving it so i can do what ever with it. could this be done easy anoth me thinks.
  12. What double din head unit model do you have in your motor cas it looks nice and does it have sat nav and reversing cam.
  13. my misses pug has this in her car and when im using it , it drives me up the wall. as i land up signalling the wrong way as well.dont like.
  14. without having the caliper in front of me and my pooh memory has the caliper nipples locted one on the inside and one on the outer or is there a left and right nipple on them. cheers
  15. agh forgot about the two in the boot, is there a guide or is it ? always start on the furthest caliper away from the brake master cylinder fisrt then work you way in the your abs two nips ie. nsr then osr then nsf then osf then abs nips in boot?
  16. Is there a specail way to bleed these cars and especally now when ive just spent the last two days in replacing 80 percent of the brake pipes. is there a bleed niple under the hood as well on the wing or is that a clutch one? cheers

  19. I will also be doing a hicas compleate removal/elimination with one of thoes kits that take away all that pipework aswell and i was at the understandin that there was a pipe that shared a solanoid or somthing.thats why i had it in my head to get rid of all that stuff in one go whislt pulling that lot about.
  20. Well i took the cover of the little black box but cant find anything wrong to look at. That doesnt mean theres nothing wrong with it thou, there loads of tiny resistors and things that could have burnt out.so if anyone got one of these little black boxes of trix spare that sit on your offside rear tail light unit they have spare then i can get an mot.well that is as soon as my brothers garage replaces all the brake lines down the car.cheers.
  21. The other day i had a faulty bulb and wiggling the wires and all the rear stop and tail lights went out.so i thought i have blown a fuse but i havnt.i must say i still have all rear brake lights in all four working just not the rear side tail lights.ive checked all the fuses under the footwell near pedals.is there anymore fuses i can check else were.or also could have i blown the little black box thing that sits in the rear os light unit ? But when i unpluged that i lossed my brake lights aswell.is there two circets in there.and if thats the case has anyone got a spare please? Or have i missed a fuse somwere else?
