To go Seude Or to Not No Seude??
Never seen a OEM Seude interior of any colour. Seen a 99spec red and black Alcantara and leather OEM interior. Seen tweed and leather, tweed and tweed, leather and Alcantara, Alcantara and the weird Jazzy patterned Recaro seats and velour in both blue and Grey and all OEM, but never seen Blue Seude. Got any pictures and are you sure its OEM.

high Idle
A few weeks ago there was a thread about High idle speed on car converted from Auto to Manual. It was mentioned that one of the pins on the ECU needed to be Earthed to ensure the ECU recieves the correct TPS signal. I've been ask by a friend about this, but i can't find the thread and beleive me I have been trying but to no avail.

how do people rate these?
Yes, but if your looking for the cheepest because your skint you don't need much of a glimmer of hope to take the plunge. I've certainly done it in the past and it usually ends up being costly.

Great Tip for Cleaning ECU Temp Sender
it was more like six days, but the acids in you gut are a lot more agresive than coke. Even so I've never drunk much coke ever since, but mainly because it spoils the taste of beer and red wine.

Problem with Ebay feed back is your suposed to make it within 28 days + the don't post any negative feed back only the posertive and what % of their feed back is posertive. A clutch that is OK for 28 days and then starts to slip may have a posertive Ebay feed back but I expect a clutch to last years.

Great Tip for Cleaning ECU Temp Sender
When i was a college one summer hol's I worked as a Car valeter for Quicks. Mainly New cars from the compound ready for the showroom, but also nice cars that were less that 2 year old got the full treatment. Anything that they couldn't get of by various sovents available to the Valeters they would use normal coke. I could't believe it so to prove its cleaning abilities they put a 2p piece in a jar with coke and in a few days it was completely disolved.

Any Coppers about?
Some good advice there Ade and don't take me the wrong way. I have to say that the anti Social attitude seem to be endemic right across society and not just the new recruits to the Police Force. So too is the fact that a percentage of the population have big chips on the shoulders. It's just a worry that some of these people get a Police uniform and they then have power to abuse and that power is what attracts that elliment. Also Ade I have 2 mates who are coppers. Andy is a bike copper and John is traffic Patrol and they are very normal sound guys and even they say that they started with a sence of wanting to enforce justice, protect the public and lock up crimials and gangsters but bureacracy, political objectives and targets mean that they are just keeping their head down now and working their way to their pensions. Their opinions have had an impact on my own. However as with your advice I'd say not just with Police officers I always treat everyone i meet with respect and courtesy even if people approach me with a bad attitude. If they are in a bad mood or been rubbed up the wrong way they will react possertively to someone being calm and courtious and generally you get a better outcome. If they are "knobs" with bad manners calm and polite pisses them off more because they want a reaction, but as soon they realise you are not going to loose self control, they generally back off. We do love a moan on here though and a bit of wise cracking banter. P.S. like Sara said. There have been times when I've been really gald to see the Police and times when I thought I'd love to strangle those two little dicks and as for making a complaint about an officer i feel it shouldn't be in house and should be done independantly. ie My wife was attacked whilst out waking the dog, fortunately the guy that attacked her either hadn't seen the dog or just thought Great Danes don't bite or something. He got a big suprise when 14.5 stone of pissed off Great Dane gave him a shake and a drag around the field. When my wife reported this at the Police station. (She was in a real state and it took her years to be able to go out for a walk on her own with the dogs.) the copper said to her "what do you expect, An attractive woman like you with long her shouldn't be out on your own". We complained and had an inspector round. sod all was done about it that copper is still working at the same village station and is still a nob. But the Lads that helped me on Christmas Day1980 were ace. The snow was well high with freezing fog. I was frozen and had stopped my bike to warm my hands on the Exhaust. They pulled up took me to the services, bought me lunch and then took me back to my bike and followed me right over the tops to Manchester. People are just people, but coppers shouldn't be, they should be proffessionals on or off duty.

I know a guy who isn't on the forum who bought one of these. A few weeks later I gave hime Smithy's number and he bought a RPS street Max off Paul. His opinion of the above was it "slipped like a bast*rd" (his words not mine. I never new Bast*rds slipped any different to the rest of us)

Any Coppers about?
So was she a Northern Copper Chris? :slap: I think it's always been the case that 40% of Coppers have issues that stem from their past. These day though 80% of kids under 25 have anti social atitudes which means the chances of meating a decent individual in a Police uniform is getting much slimmer. All the kids that went to school with me that became Coppers were all bullied at school. I once got pulled by a copper for having a rear indicator out. The copper was a lad who used to go to my school who I'd often stuck up for and befriended. ******* did me though and asked mr if i was trying to influece or corupt an officer from carrying out his duties. The moral of the story is if you see someone being bullied or picked on, get strait over there and get the boot in Quick while you can.

Non-amber side repeaters - legal?
I was looking at my mates 1964 ford Zepper today and his little white winker was on as we spoke.

555's and rail
You'd need an ECU upgrade in the form of either a socketed and chipped standard ECU, or a piggy back fuel fuel air controler such as a Apexi SAFR etc, or a tunnning house ECU for the 555's or a Stand alone ECU replacement like a AEM or such like. Yes if you just get the injectors you really need to replace the injector seating rings, the lower and upper injector sealing rings, the cap insulators with the little half moon washers, injector plugs most likely and the upper plenum gasket. Which I recon will cost you about the same.

Non-amber side repeaters - legal?
Depends on the age of the car. As some old cars came with white front indicators and flash with white illumination. Not sure if it's still legal to have forward facing white illuminated indicators, but got a feeling it is.

Nice Motor Home
I think they are for people that either travel to do with their hobbies and the kind of places they stay are off the beaten Track. Or for people like me that think I wonder where that goes and go find out. I love good Hotels, but you have to know where your going to be before you can book and that removes the adventure. If I could afford i'd have one, but the tent will have to do for now. I have a friend who does a lot of car racing and he bought a 10 year old Winnabago (not in the same class), but loads of the people at the race weekends have these beasts. Then there is all the Horsey crowd and i also have a friend who owns a Haulage firm with a depot in Madrid, Milan (well neara to Torino) and North Wales. He has just bought a Artic version of one of these. He sets it up in the yard at his depots and works there for a month or so then goes touring with his wife. It's a home from home he can justify to the Tax man.

Alonzo=W4NKER?
F1 on TV is a sport for insomniacs. They just go round and round in a procession. I'm out for the count after 5 or 6 laps. Touring cars, superbikes and motoGP are just so much better to watch. They actually race and overtake. The racing is close and there is always a chance of 3 or 4 different people winning. F1 will have to bring back wider cars, slicks and kess driver aids so we get some proper racing again.
