  1. Happy birthday Mike What you up to? Should be having a party like the one we had at the Nurburg. Was the red eye brigade next afternoon as people got breakfast by brail and tried not to move their head too quickly :hurl:
  2. Don't mean to sound snotty. just trying to sound informative instead of driveling.
  3. Yes you have missed the point. Detectors Such as Road Angel and Snooper are totally legal. Microwave Jammers are illegal to use to prevent an Officer of the law getting a Vascar/Radar reading, but legal for opening electric gates/garage doors etc.
  4. A Microwave device for the purpose of operating electric gates and/or garage doors must be fitted with an alarm to ensure you deactivate the device should a Police Microwave speed gun be aimed your car. If not it is illegal Reasons for. The Police speed guns must be held on a fixed point of your vehicle for 3 seconds to get a safe legal reading. Which is why, by the laws of Physics these devices can never give a true reading as even the most sophisticated ooba expensive military lazer locking devices (which these don't have) cannot attain that level of accuracy on a moving object. However that is all part of the appeal deffence which you would without question win should you be done by such a device, but it the Police were unable to attain a reading because you did not switch you Microwave device off. They could then impound your car and do you for attempting to prevent an officer of the Law from carrying out his duties. That carries a more serious penalty and would also conclude that you were doing so for the purpose of concealing your speeding activerties and would most likely lead to a 12 point ban and masive fine on top of the one for stopping Mr plod doing his job.

At the moment I have a SWB with Grey Tweed 92 A SWB with Grey tweed and charcole leather 91 A lwb with leather and Alcantara 94 earlier this year I had a SWB with Black tweed and Recaro seats. 93 I would like to get hold of a blue dash and door cards as I want to do a navy and cream interior at some stage. P.S. You carn't do a multi opion.
  11. Well the slave cylinder I have off a 94 NA is different to the new Slave cylinder I bought last year for my TT. So did they change them after 94?
  12. Hi Stu Is your car a TT or an NA? The clutch , flywheel, slave and master cylinders, balance bar, bell housing, forward prop section (NA prop and diff smaller) and peddle box for NA is different to that of the TT although the NA will work on the TT bur it's HP limitations are not as robust as the TT equipment. I will shortly have a complete NA set up and a second NA set up minus prop and Flywheel.
  13. I agree the blue one above looks like velour even on the doors. Still nicer than the tween don't ya think. Real Alcantara was made to look like suede without the turning to leather issuse. Loads of veluret these days claiming to be Alcantara.
  14. Whay Hay I'm back in a Zed again The Little Red is DEAD!! Long live Little Red    Bought another SWB this weekend. So at the moment I've got 2 and a Half.

  16. You only have free access to Traders and help for about a month after first registering after that you must join the club and then get the benifit of Trader discounts etc. i think new member subscription is £25, but if you look at how to subscribe it will give you the correct figure if I'm wrong. Anual renewal is cheeper you see.
  17. Thats the same as mine and it's not real suede just good quality Alcantara as used in Astons and AMG's. Honest it is. If you remove it you'll see the weave on the back and it wars better than suede.
