P...P...Piggie Porn!!!!
Lighten up guys As your kids get older you realise that before they're aware of what is going on they'll just see it a a cartoon. Then once they know what is going on they'll see it as funny, very funny in deed. Infact they'd be laughing about it and texting pictures of it to all their mates all day. We have enough of the nanny state going on.

Simon Norris crashes at Castle Combe
He deserved to crash. What a total knob. There's taking the curb and taking the piss. I know when you racing you get locked on the cars your catching, but if you disengauge your brain your going to kill someone and he nearly did. Every milli second the space was vanishing and the second Evo nearly lost it and tore up the ground. He should have backed out of that. If I'd been the poor basta*rd in the pug then Mr Norris would have been hospitalised for sure. Explains it all anyway really because. there nearly all knobs that drive Evo's, Impreza's and Skyline's They think 4 wheel drive is some sort of magic tyre glue.

What car for £5000-6000?
Audi A8 Quatro, you'll find loads of them around the £5500 to £6000 mark. The 4.2 is the one to go for. They are fully loaded, handle better than the beemer and give astonishing mpg figures. If they are going to look at Volvos then the T4's isn't the one to go for and have too little power for the equivalent sized S60 or V70 models. T5 or T5R or GT or even the T6 is the way to go. A nice S60 T6 would be easy to find for that budget and more mod cons than you can shake a stick at. think the Audi is the best way to go though.

n/a gear box & TT gear box ???????
All I know is that when the output bearing of my TT box was singing its tits off I put a NA box in and it is exactly the same. I swapped the bell housings over, but before I did it I had the pat numbers checked and all gear clusters are the same as the TT including final drive.

Speeding Fines - Rules changing
I had a situation last summer. Company car usually driven by my wife, Sometimes buy me. The incident happend on a Saturday at 12.30. I assumed it was My wife. She insisted that it wasn't her and Iknew I hadn't been up that road for months. Then she remembered that we'd taken a load of stuff to my college lads digs and that we'd had to use the estate car that John has for his company car. He claimed he collected the Car on film at 13.00 my wife insists he collected it at 12.00. In the end the company got a £250 fine. Now under the new circumstances I'd get 6 points and a fine. They'd both get off. Thats not right. Infact it is a travesty. + Like richard says. We have 2 pickup trucks out every night with a 2 man crew on each and all 4 are able to drive the vehicles. If they both inssist that neither was driving I'm screwed again. It looks more and more like a means for workers to walk.

£20k what to buy?????
The build quality of the SLK isn't that good as well. I was really disapointed when me and the missis looked at them just before we bought her last BMW. The hazard warning switch came off in my hand on all three we looked at and loads of little finishing bits just weren't right. Then the said it only came with one year warrenty. I asked why and the guy said "because it is a Merc". So i told him if they were so wonderfull they should have a 5 year warrenty and promptly left and went and bought my missis a Beamer. sorry it was the CLK we looked at and not a patch on my C70

£20k what to buy?????
I'm glad in many ways, because the boy racer culture will stay clear and let us that know the vurtues of the T5 R and GT range have fun without attracting too much attention from the Old Bill.

£20k what to buy?????
How the fook did you know I ware brown cord trousers and a flat cap :slap:   I've had a few brown trouser moments in my C70 T5 gt though. Ask any of the lads that went on the Nurburg run  You need deeper trousers pockets than Coco the clown to keep them on the road apparently. My lads girlfiends dad has got rid of his and bought a Ranger Rover sport because it spent too much time burning holes in his bank account whilst sitting in the Porsche Garage every few weeks.

Exedy Racing-clutch
Yes I know because i've spoken to Exedy Europe about these clutches and they have told me that if it ever was an Exedy clutch it is that old (ie stopped being made at least 10 years ago) that it is no longer listed and therefore has no exedy backing. They also said that the meterial in a clutch starts to break down after about 5 years if never used. Aparently the compound has to cook through use to make it stable and before it works properly. Be Gee Vinz bought an Exedy that was over 10 year old and it didn't work properly, but because he bought it from an Exedy ortherised dealer they swaped it for a new Carbon alloy twin plate.

£20k what to buy?????
Whats that suposed to mean? Have you ever driven a T5 R or a C70 T5 GT? They are almost as quick as a standard Zed TT (quicker than most that are in safety mode) and handle much better than a standard 2+2 What they lack in HP they make up for with Torque and the build quality is as good as BMW without the nob behind the wheel factor. If your looking for something bigger with Go, Well equiped, good handling, high residual values Try a V70 T6R 4 wheel drive 300bhp standard and the Rica upgrade ECU is just £300 plug and go £380bhp and the torque figures are staggering. I do love the A8's the 4.2 Quatro but they plumit in value so I'd only buy a £6K 5 year old 4.2 with a gas convertion. Then spend the rest on a nice holiday.

£20k what to buy?????
New shape C70 T5se. They have one at Ryebrook for about £18K just over a yeat old. Loads of go, nice handling and the coupe becomes a convertable at the touch of a button.

Speeding Fines - Rules changing
This is another none legally binding, but very leeding forms being sent out by Police forces up and down the county. Best thing to do is to write see attach across it and answer it in your own words. you must tell them who owns the vehical, but you can ask them why they have sent it to you, what equipment used, last time calibrated etc and wether you contest it or not. The forms are just a confession form. Impossible to answer fully and not in someway incrimiate yourself even if your inocent. Don't fill them in.

Anyone for a swap
I have a 2 into 1 SWB Stainless Cat back system for a TT. Sounds wonderfull on the TT and looks awesome, but unfortunately for me it is just too loud on the NA. So I'm looking to swap for a stainless twin exit car bak system. Its an Alunox System so very expensive and well made.

Speeding Fines - Rules changing
I have 5 cars and they are insured for me my wife my eldest son and 2 of the people that work for me. My son or my wife maybe out at this moment in 2 off my cars and later this afternoon be out in the same vehicles but both in the other car depending what they are doing. I came to work in my pickup truck today and John who I work with has been out in it to get butty's and Bev has been down to the tip in it. We have all traveled down the same bit of road and past the same speed camera. This kind of thing happens regularly on many days of the week. So in 4 to 6 weeks from now if I get a picture of one of the cars and you can't see who was driving. how am I supposed to know who's driving if they deny that it was them. Should I get done, is this right? If you have only one car then maybe it could be argued that it is fair, but for people who own more than one car it sure as hell isn't. Also one of the fundimental statutes of British law (and infact international law and united nations human rights law) is the right to silence. This law is saying that you will be punished for any offence comitted by anyone using your vehicle or one designed to look like your vehical (believe me this is far mor comon than you think). So this new bill looks like it contravenes major statutes that under pin the basis of a persons legal rights. So all this law does is creat room for leagal argument (ie makes lawyers more money) by allowing people who can aford to fight it a way of keeping a clean licence and people who don't have thousands to throw at it will have to pay up and take the points. I'm sorry but this is more unjust ******ks for the inland revenue. Just another Tax and a further erotion of our hard earned legal right to be inocent untill found guilty. When it come to motoring we are now guilty unless you can aford to prove your inocent. If this was France people would be burning Effigies of the Transport minister and by Tea time he'd be out of a job and the law would never surface again. What a bunch of spineless TW@ts we are in this country and yet another reason why when my divorce comes through I'll be slinging my hook off to France'e. Viv la France tout de mere. So you lot seem to think we should give up yet another right and pay even more taxes. For What? Are the roads safer? are the roads in better repare? Are the traffic jams being sorted? When you can't drive cos your banded will you be able to get about your business on our world class public transport system? Can you bike it to work? (most jobs are on business, retail,or industrial estates that are miles from where people live) Is the money being used to get better services, look after our armed forces, old age pensioners, make City centres safer after dark. Deal with crime? Fook sake were getting to the point where we can be banged up for walking out the friging door and everyone thinks thats OK. Well I don't

Fitted HID's... lights still poor...
I've heard of these kits ie (Z center kits) needing to have the Balast boxes totally insulated from the car body before they work properly. The kit I have is the other way round. If the balast boxes are not properly grounded then the light is only about a third as bright as they should be.

silly question
As above if the rad is a standard TT rad with the intergrated cooler this was for the auto box and wouldn't be a good idea to run the engine oil cooling through it. If it's a Maculack 60mm deep core ally racing rade with intergrated oil cooler then this will do the trick very nicely thank you. You also talk about hoses from the oil filter housing?? This isn't standard on the 300zx and most of these are sandwich plates which are actually for oil presure and temp sensors for gauges and not feed and returns. So you need to find out wether it it is a proper take off plate or just a gauge sandwhich plate. I have a remote filter plate on my TT which allows the 2 directional flow. Mocal and pace among other do the sandwich plates with 2 way flow for a cooler. If you take it off and post a pic or two of it I'll be able to tell you if it's a cooler feed and return or just a Gauge sensor plate.
