Cheers steve Thanks for clearing that up. The Pre 94 Zed use a side feed injector, but the post 94 cars use the same injectors ar the skylines, but they are all nissan and Nismo there as both you and Dave have said "Denso's" and not sard as I thought (because they're indentical)

What the strosek on his black TT or the Evolusion Explosion type on his Blue NA? I love the Evolusion Explosion wide arch body kit except for that hidious front bumper. Don't do it. It is as bad as the Veilside Shark type :hurl: Personally I'd sell the 99 spec and get the Stillen Chin spoiler and smoked indicators and fogs. The strosek front bumper is really old fashioned and looks well dated + it doesn't follow any of the lines of the car unless you alter the lines with the old fashion rounded Strosek arches and side skirts.. I used to have the 99 spec on my Blue TT, but it is too soft and not agresive enough for the cars image.

Hi I'm changing the tail gate on my red SWB NA this weekend and just wondered if there are any help full tips for removal and refit. I was thinking that removing the roof lining and unbolting it from there would be best for refiting. Never having done it before i just wondered if this was the best and easiest way.

I think the colour makes a masive difference as to how nice and what quality it looks like. I've seen a blue and silver one and a black one near Prestbury. TBH the 2 tone blue and silver car looked plasticy and naff, but the black one looked real nice.

I thought Denso and Sard were 2 of the few injector manufactorers. + i haven't seen or heard of any Jspec 300 cars coming in with aftermarket Denso injectors, but plenty with Sard and Sard regulators. Hey I maybe wrong, but either way the Sard injectors look the same as nismo's and are known to be reliable.

If your going to fix it don't go down the second hand engine senario unless it is an engine you know or from a good relyable supplier. ie Andy Z or a member who's motor is sound but the rest of the car isn't worth saving. A new set of oversized fordged pistons and a rebore will about hundred pounds more than a second hand lump. The removal of the engine, reinstalling ancillaries and engine instalation will be the same wether it is a rebuild or a second hand engine. Remember you'll get more money for the car if it has had a Fordged pistons and recent top end "rebuild". If you can get it to Phil at C & S Wood it would be well worth it. Or Have a word with Wozzer as I know Mr Duff is doing a lot of work at WoZZer and Jay's place. P.S. don't go big unless you really love her and intend to suffer the pains and heart haches. + A thumping great big hole in your bank account.

Thats right and the noise emissions test is called and ESVA. However the standard emissions out put of the 300zx does qualify with EU specs unless the car is knackered.

DTA also do the 99spec incerts to convert your existing lights to 99spec then you add the HID kit total cost about £400. + about 3 hours work. If you want the genuine macoy then Luke at http://www.zcenter.co.uk sells then for about £900.

I looked at importing a replacement for my Wifes TRD Celica. I was told buy the VOSA people that if the car was made after 1997 and a model vehicle report was not avialable I would have to do one of 2 things. I could have the car ESVA's £2500 and apply for a model report £7000. This would mean any future cars of that model could be brought in a SVA's £60 providing that the importer could produce a model report. (they would have to rent it from me at a charge usually of £500 per batch) The car must be as it was built at the factory and conform exactly to the model specification. So you can bring in a box standard 99 spec car in so long as you have it ESVA'd and that costs £2500 The TRD celica would have cost £15500 and with the ESVA £18K on the road.

No it isn't why they're there. The door pilar is there so your door window doesn't flop around, especially on a targa top. + Door mounted belt are a pain in the arse and look sh1te. The number of times I've pulled up at home or at mates houses and because its a habbit from having turboed cars, I always sit and let the car cool down a minute before switching off and they've opened the door before I've unbuckled. Here Here + to add to all the people that post their rules. I would say anyone speeding on a single carriageway in a built up area, or residential area needs banning. + always stay within your own ability's on the road and use track days to find what your limits are.
