  1. She's was going out with her mates tonight so im in her good book, until tomorrow when she has hangover and I gotta strip the rest:scared:
  2. Yeah hubs are na stuff on the rear so putting all that on new shell. This is what happens when a greasy mechanic thinks he can do welding and bodywork. There was nothing wrong with it either just went on a mad one, for no reason at all.
  3. Yeah got a new shell for it, no more welding whoop whoop, the zed had no engine in it so it was only panels and interior really that came off, But surprising what a mess 3hrs can make..
  4. Maybe all the neighbours are jealous of our zeds and pick on us lol. A paedo drug dealing asswipe:2guns:,
  5. Lol, one sides about 90 the other about 70, come out screaming at my family members if they drop someone off and block drive why the other person gets out. Zed aint taxed has its off the rd on my drive being worked on, comes out pointing and moaning his paid tax for 50yrs he didn't like it when I said more fall u lol.. Not to bad though with me working on my car long has I aint banging at stupid o'clock and things. Reckon they just got use to it..
  6. There not there grumpy old gits lol, its got a sheet over it but normally its tidy outside, so they can see im working on it its not just dumped..
  7. Just got to take suspension and wiring looms etc off tomorrow and she can go to car heaven, scrap yard. Had to strip it quick so can pick my new shell up and park it in the spot. And do it quickly so don't think about my poor poor zed..
  8. Got home from work tonight, around 5 look at the mess I've made in 3hrs... Theres even a pic of me sitting in it for the last time but its not quite how I remember it.. Bit bare..
  9. Thats much better then my drawing lol, I did do mine on my phone. Don't say u did too, cause I'll look even more crap at drawing
  10. Just slit it like this right through flange and stud the 2halfs of the stud will fall out leaving a threaded hole with a small slit in the flange on one side. New nuts, bolts and washers, And your away lol..
  11. Its a stud with a nut on it if stud snaps, cut through the middle of the lot it will come out in 2, If use thin slitter can use same thread size has studs in bolts, or nut and bolts and go right through. .
  12. If u used a 0.8 slitter could have cut one straight line, had 0.8 gap in middle of the stud missing poked stud out and still had the thread so no need for the nuts, just new bolts.. Done it to mine never had a problem after that...
  13. Have u got consult or a volt meter.. Its been a while so trying to remember lol, know when im looking at it but I'll try remember and explain...I think... With a volt meter put it on so it reads voltage, put it across battery car running should be around 14v. So u know volt meters working right. Theres 2 plugs on tps u want the plug that doesn't plug directly into tps, the one u want has wires both sides, god im crap at explaining lol. Put black lead of volt meter on battery (-) and red lead of volt meter in the middle hole/wire of the plug. Ignition on and u should have a voltage on the screen, open/shut the throttle voltage should go up and down. The 2 little bolts on side of tps loosen them a little move tps to u get 0.45v and lock it up. I normally snap the throttle open and let it shut quite hard and make sure voltage is still reading 0.45v. Or consult/diagnostics should just show up on live data, Sorry im crap at explaining and sure someone will be along and explain better.
  14. It will take a while to burn old oil from intercoolers, pipe work and even oil in the exhaust.. So fingers crossed shes ok..
  15. Have u set it to around 0.45v closed throttle, u need a volt meter or if I remember rightly u can use consult.. It will do lots of crazy things if u haven't.
  16. Trust me slit them and use nut and bolts or use new bolts. Your be there forever drilling mate...
  17. Them slitting disc sometimes be glad to have crash helmet. But for thin neat cuts there the nuts...
  18. Slit them like in pic, Screwfix sell 0.8 cutting disc go through it like butter lot easier then drilling. Soon has u cut through there will be a gap in between two parts of the stud u can push one side out at a time, then put a bolt in cause rest of thread will be fine. If u use thin slitting disc dont move grinder left or right cause they will shatter and try use some goggles..
  19. What i did is use a really thin 0.8 slitting disc u can cut right through the studs like jeff said but if you go straight through the stud should come out leaving the thread undamaged with tiny slit then u can just use a bolt with original thread..
  20. Sounds like she wants u to move out:wink::clap:
  21. Mine is like a zed parts dump lol, just about get in the front door. Dreading clearing it out, but got to when my zed is finished its staying in there and getting look after..
  22. Wish I had a garage like that, when i park mine in the garage i have to take tbar off drivers side and climb out the roof, And no im not a fat git lol.
  23. Have u tried compression test, Or could be turbo seals, I found when both my zeds turbo seals failed, if I put it in neutral held the revs just under 3krpm and blip the throttle up and down it would bellow out. But while driving would just catch a glimpse every now and then, or if I left it tickover for a bit it sometimes smoke a little. How many miles u done since pcv replacement, could be its burning all the old stuff out... Good luck hope u solve the problem.
  24. Just itching to pick it up now, zeds been off the road about 8months, Should be a nice car now, Full respray again, New rebuilt engine, Big turbos, New wheels, Just got to get interior retrimmed too, black and white leather. Hopefully it will be very clean, and pretty fast, but compared to astra diesal work van, and a 1.2 punto even if it only runs on 4 it should feel quick lol..
