  1. Hi guys, Managed to get fuel tank back to metal, primered it then sprayed it satin black... not much done been stuck at work and eye is annoying me lol.
  2. Lol the spot is a piece of metal from grinding.... 1st hospital couldnt get it out, Had to go to another hospital...they told me not to blink with a needle going into my eye.

Few more bits done, Weather was crap... managed to strip the rest of the suspension off, remove fuel tank. jet washed the engine bay and the underneath of car plus the arches. wire brush on a grinder and got rid of all the surface rust in the areas I was gonna stonechip, then etch primered. Below the battery tray is the worse area theres actually a few little holes, gonna get bro in law round to put a tiny plate in. so couldn't stonechip front arch today.

  14. Stu got this 1 delivered for me so had to have the other taken away. But took all the bits u needed 1st... So ready for u to pick up when u get 5.

Hi guys, My new shell came today, from sussex stu. so got on a mission, took the doors, bonnet, wings, tailgate off. swapped them with my ones. stripped the engine bay, got to jet wash it tomorrow. Removed rear diff, subframe, got to remove front cross member in the morning thrn stonechip arches and underneath the whole car. one of the sills were dented, from a jack and I've sorted that. Heres a couple of pics, I'll put some more up tomorrow. Hopefully couple weeks it will look like this again..
  16. I got some real coffee in the fridge...I'll get the coffee machine on for them... that old ford craps getting it dont worry about that mate... twin cam ... we got ...4...and 2 turbos...

Last 6 lol, That engine bay on the 1st one was a ba@#ard. 2nd ended up with flared rear arches full of filler. this ones dirty but me and stu looked over it and its solid. main place we looked was inside car, behind rear quarter pads etc. these cars seem to look good on the outside but look in there with a torch and some of them are rotten. this ive even had me arm down into the seal and feels really clean. so fingers crossed, I get it tomorrow. And gonna paint it asap with lots of pics.

  19. I promise not to destroy this one too guys, She's going straight to be painted....no welding whoop whoop. I got rid of the welder anyway oh and the grinder. I'll post some pics up stu when shes white and shiny. Thanks stu, u been a great help.
