  1. Even the standard recircs could leak and give u low boost. Hammer is the best tool invented for stubborn zeds. make it wish it never....lol....
  2. Have u got dump valves, I had a problem where I couldn't get over 13psi. In the end I gave up trying to find the problem. Then one day took my blitz dump valves off. went for a drive down the rd and the bugger hit stupid pressure. must of been leaking inside the system. hope u sort it mate
  3. 21 days of no fags, whoop whoop....
  4. Aint done it for a long time but dure this is right. 20v and looks like leads should be where they are. Black lead to earth on battery, and red to the middle wire on the plug thats coming out the tps on a wire. 0.45v closed throttle, I normally snap the throttle open before I take volt meter off to make sure it goes straight to 0.45v cause sometimes u set it there then snap throttle open and it will go to 0.46v which seemed to make my idle crap.
  5. Ok paul, next week I'll have nothing to do, And we can sort everything out...c ya soon mate...

  7. I am mate, sticking oobumblebeoo engine in.... did u wanna meet up, your bits are in the garage...
  8. Thank u, I am a fussy ****er with my bloody zed.
  9. Cheers everyone for the replies... what detail lol u mean the mess I make...
  10. Didn't say it dont rust lol, it takes longer u think your block will be running in 80yrs lol. I got that wrong too 101 years.
  11. Metal is weird, was refurbishing a rolling mill few yrs ago. they had pumps and stuff that went in water, if it stayed in water it wouldn't rust much. same has u see metal in the sea, the bits that stay under water are pretty clean the bits the tide comes in and out on are rotten. Surely if u use anti freeze and keep it full of water it should be ok.
  12. Managed to get all the suspension back on and built up, And shes back on her wheels... even managed to test fit sideskirts, its nearly looking like a car again lol... not many pics to take cause it just looks like an old scrapper lol.. now just got to tow it to the paint shop for some fresh artic white paint.. its got no bloody hand brake and tonight it rolled over the block and chased me in the garage lol, had to jump behind engine hoist, engine hoist stopped it going right in the garage..
  13. Yep thats the stuff, but used a compressor and schutz gun. Its all covered so hopefully it will be good. thanks for your reply.
  14. Ive sorted it out, but had some problems wi5h posting stuff. for mark on here and a welder I sold. will get it out to u mon. sorry for the delay...
  15. Its stonechip, like a rubber paint so stones bounce off it, its not the soft one that dont set... its the over paint able one, and seems u dont have to over paint it. but where I've removed rust its only primer and stonechip and hoping thats enough to protect it
  16. That looks good stuff, only problem is I've allready wire brushed and treated the bits that had surface rust, etch primered the areas that needed it and stonechip it. it looks ok, just worried about building it all back up and it absorbs the water and the bugger rusts. your stuff looks like it goes direct to metal...and I aint sanding it all back off lol it can rust... Really wanted to know if anyones used stonechip and not overpaint it.. thanks for reply.
  17. Its only in places where I had surface rust, worried primer and stonechip might be porous and let water in..
  18. Hi guys, On my car I've etch primered, and black stonechip underneath. Anyone know about paints will I have to overpaint the stonechip or will primer and stonechip be enough. any help appreciated
  19. Its a pain laying under the car with wire brush on a grinder. Atleast its done now.... Just cleaning any rust with my grinder with a wire brush on it, etch primered the metal and black stonechip, Used dinitrol on the last shell, and now using mipa stonechip from local paint supplier its much cheaper and I can't tell no difference used compressor and schutz gun... thanks for replys,
  20. Heres a couple more pics, painted steering rack, had some silver so used that up. the front cross members, i used my grinder with a wire brush and then etch primered them and finished them in stonechip, hopefully it will last and be more stone resistant. its starting to look like a car again, well heres the pics anyhow...
  21. I know about half a tank it was scary wire brushing it on a grinder... I was waiting for the bang. I've always heard its best to leave quite a lot of fuel in there cause an empty one is more likely to go bang....gonna post some more pics up in a few minutes.
  22. Hi guys, Managed to get fuel tank back to metal, primered it then sprayed it satin black... not much done been stuck at work and eye is annoying me lol.
