  2. What a handsome chap! We've had three retired greyhounds in our family over the last few years and they make great pets. They're lazy as anything during the day and don't need as much exercise as one would expect, having said that our Barton loves a long walk. Do you know Kane's proper racing name Pete, as I go on here to see our pets racing history, mum and dad (cough, Sire and Dame), etc.: www.greyhound-data.com Any Jack and Rockbarton Champ are the names of two of ours. Unfortunately we never know Nosey's racing name so couldn't look it up. It was supposed to be something like Cooglamora Agfo, but that comes back with no results. We found that it's best to go for a dog that's been retired for a few months, because some of them can be a little aggressive if they've been mistreated during their racing career, and need time to unwind in a domestic environment.
  3. "Don't panic Mr. Mainwaring!!" RIP Clive :(
  4. I've been running the Deatschwerks for a few years with no problems. I couldn't tell whether the A/F ratio is correct as I've not had the car tuned properly since they were installed, but there have been no physical problems with them, I've been happy with them. Perhaps the chip wasn't mapped correctly, or the injectors were faulty?
  5. Update on this - after largely being unable to test the relays due to the pins being so close together and probably frying one of them in my attempts, I left them with a local garage who eventually turned round and said they'd be unable to test them because they don't know what they do. I was under the impression you could run them through a 12v circuit and hear them click when you close the circuit, but I don't pretend to be an electrician! So I have received 5 replacements, which I have swapped over and, after a couple of attempts to get the fuse box back in (I'm sure it's grown in size since I took it out!) I have got everything plugged back in. She started up ok but the buzzing's continued  so it's the remaining relay that's at fault (the LC RLY one) - I've left the area as open as possible and thankfully this relay's closest to the near edge of the rear of the fuse box so I was able to put my finger on it and feel it buzzing. I'm not sure what this relay does, however I'm getting the following symptoms which have all cropped up immediately since the relay started buzzing: LIGHTS light on Poor idling (~650rpm) Stutter and stall when lifting off after high revs Aircon doesn't come on at all now - the controls are responding (beep and light on pod) but no aircon Hopefully these are all gremlins from the same source (I hope) so let's see what happens when I get the final relay swapped out...
  6. Hope you had a great day Chris - Happy Birthday! :)
  7. Happy Birthday dude!
  8. I just don't understand how there could be ANY reason to do that. Innocent people and children going about their business. Whatever sick torture you can think up for this ***t will be too good for him. :gun_bandana::gun_bandana::gun_bandana:
  9. There's a David Lynch at our workplace!
  10. Happy Birthday Ian!!
  11. Sounds like an exciting project - thanks for starting the thread Pete!
  12. Happy Birthday Mikey!
  13. Hi Chris - there's a name from the past! Glad you've still got the Z - is she still silvery/blue?
  14. true, though I meant in concept as opposed to realism. :D
  15. Looks really good, but it's essentially Burnout Paradise!
  16. Difficult to say because I had a couple of other mods installed at the same time - I think one of which was a lightweight crank pulley which may give similar benefits to a lightweight flywheel, although I've got no regrets at all having it installed. I'm running the basic Street Sport clutch. It's been fine for the last few years, but I'm wondering if my recent N/A diff mod is starting to push it a little too far as the performance is lacking a little in the first two gears. Excuse for an upgrade perhaps!
  17. I've been running an RPS clutch and JWT flywheel for 5 or so years without any problems. Also ran a JWT chip for a year or so with no probs.
  18. Happy Birthday Baz!
  19. AOL? Jeez that belongs in a museum! What do you mean by 'use it for browsing' Alan? Do you mean that's your default home page when you open your browser? Do you actually use the AOL page itself? I think 403 means there's a problem at the server side.
  20. Thanks RedWine that's just what I was looking for! Thanks Groover. The above are working, at first glance it looked like the white box should have some sort of fluid in!
  21. thanks matey - I wonder what the Control Timer is for.
