  2. great stuff mate - welcome to the club! its good to see lucky Zs with owners who clearly show enthusiasm. keep us all posted on how its going
  3. sorry i dont know of any forums, but when i was there 3 or so years ago on hols, this is one of the firsts sights to greet me as i walked down the road from the hotel!!!
  4. awesome!!! and 45k isn't actually an impossible amount of money either! talk about peace of mind!
  5. 1:44 in!  holy sh*t i thought he'd bought it!!!
  6. i worked in retail for 11 years - starting off filling up fruit & veg for cash while i was a student, worked my way through various roles like ordering, supervisory, and was a line manager for the last 4 years. i now work as a management information developer for a bank - I've always been a programmer since i was 5 :D , but my old career kind of kept me away from that.
  7. welcome to the club :duffer: nice looking Z!
  8. Z ownership by numbers!.... 26 {sigh...}
  9. welcome to the club! :) good luck with your search
  10. how are the pods secured to the metal A-pillar? the only place mine are attached are at the top, where i knocked a plastic clip into the small rectangular hole, which snapped into place, and then screwed the A-pillar pods into that. it's not 100% snug bit holds really well, both top and bottom
  11. bloody hell mate that was lucky!!
  12. im sure we had a Z31 owner on here - a white one (the car not the owner!) :D
  13. ok thanks both  you and your airing cupboards Silver youve mentioned them at least 3 times now! :wack:
  14. just to confirm as well Pablito that the older 300zx model (the Z31) was a single turbo - but 99% of this site is about the newer Z32 twin turbo :)
  15. congratulations!!
  16. how would it measure your power? estimated BHP reading is one of the features of the ApexI RSM that I have installed, but thats a display that hooks into the ECU and a G-Force meter to help estimate the reading.
  17. Hi mate - I can't really help with your query, but I think you mean you're running too Rich, as opposed to Lean? :)
  18. good man thats the best choice
  19. hi mate and welcome to the club! the motor looks sweet from that tiny photo, and a steal at that price with those mods! i hope you dont mind my asking what sort of insurance quotes youve had?
  20. ive just been to halfrauds and they only have spray carb/filter cleaner. does anyone have or know where i can get from (or know what i can use as a replacement) any cleaner that you leave your filter to soak in? ive just replaced mine with the one i got from ChrisD  and although the old one is dirty as owt, its still in good nick and im sure could be cleaned and used again.
  21. ive run with a Nismo rad cap for ages - both on a stock rad and currently on the Koyo, without problems. Ive had loads of running temp problems in the past, which i thought could be linked to the cap, but these were down to the thermostat, and the airflow being blocked by the number plate! now it runs as cool as Michael Knight in a leather jacket with the sleeves rolled up
  22. Happy Birthday Jadon :duffer:
