Ive had my brand new aftermarket suspension fitted for about 1000 miles now and it still creaks and groans a lot when going over bumps etc. even when i get in and out of the car it creaks. I suspected that it needed time to 'settle down' but is this true? the chap who tuned the suspension said it sounded like the ball joints needed greasing. has anyone else experienced this and what can be done to sort it?

nice to see 5 300s there! lets hope they get it right this time as IIRC with either GT3 or GT4 they claimed it was a 2+2 but the filler cap was clearly on the inside of the rear axle! i dread to think how many skylines there'll be in this one! lol

out of interest how much more does an electric seat weigh over a manual? and how much do the deletable aircon components weight and will junking them free up any more ponies?

there was a thread on here a few weeks ago about the GPX. a workmate has one and its nippy and looks good - nowhere near the performance of a Z but perhaps a nice sporty car for the missus.

i think the amount that top footballers get paid is sickening. £16k a minute to play your favourite game :slap: some people would happily take £16k a fookin YEAR. and dont tell me about how hard their training is! im not a footie fan either but imagine some of the poor families who have to scrimp and save just to get hold of a season ticket. trouble is theres nothing anyone can do about it. no wonder the fookers end up buying flash cars and then binning them at 100mph somewhere.

im running Nexen 3000s at the moment, not by choice but because they came with the alloys. i have to say i dont drive the car hard enough often enough to push them to their limit, but they do complement my suspension tuning very well. im in no rush to replace them

a workmate of mine has one and he's very happy with it. he upgraded from a new-style corolla. 190-odd horsepower and pulls nice and evenly through the semi-auto. he's upgraded the brakes, fitted an HKS filter and a front strut brace. ive not driven it myself but been a passenger a few times. very cosy inside, not much room! spacious engine bay. they do look good, although they look like they need a turbo. (agree with silverbullet though :) ) EDIT: he went from Leicester to Inverness and back over the weekend and got 42mpg

yeah theyre taking it out for a run to test the rad, but those speeds are rediculous, especially on A-roads :( there's enough data there for prosecution easily. awesome piece of kit though, recording G-force, location, speed, even cockpit sounds like their voices. how they didnt spot i'll never know! not bad for £280 although i guess GPS subscription is on top.
