  1. i always check out http://www.firebox.com - full of ideas/gadgets/crazy stuff! in fact ive just ordered over £200 of stuff from there for this Christmas (including a 20 minute flying in a Tigermoth experience for my dad - he used to work as an aero engineer at Rolls Royce near Coventry building aeroplane engines)
  2. sounds like you walked it buddy ;) keep it up!
  3. i think that's the only thing Jeff's missing!!
  4. i was next on the list so i had to buy my own :( cant complain for a fiver though
  5. Capt. Tolley's CCC. you can pick it up off ebay for a fiver. its a thin substance that you can squeeze into where you think there's a leak. the substance then sets into a clear rubbery waterproof seal. its only useful where there's a small crack, otherwise the lot just runs through like the rainwater does.
  6. i had the same problem - on mine it was water running beneath the rubber that is just above the top of the A pillar outside the car - it hadnt been bonded down properly by the bodyshop who initially did my respray. if you had a stock A-pillar, gawd knows where the water would go - out at the corner where the dash meets the windscreen? a few doses of creeping crack cure seems to have sorted it
  7. http://www.viddler.com/explore/failblog/videos/327/
  8. they shouldnt have been there. get them out. RIP boys :(
  9. love the vid. what a cheating c00nt that subaru was :slap: :slap: what a satisfying nudge off the hairpin  but such a shame it bust their rad :( but it wouldnt have made any difference due to the blockage further down the stage. nice driving from the Nova - co-driver made a couple of dodgy calls a minute or so in but great driving! i'd love to do something like that!!!
  10. i just get a 'server too busy' at the moment
  11. good luck tomorrow little man, just think after a few hours you'll be back home telling us how you got on ;)
  12. "ITS THE NON-TURBO SO YOU WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE EVER OCCURRING EXPENSIVE TURBO REPLACEMENTS THAT GO WITH THE TURBO Z's" yeah i agree - stupid turbos what's the point of them! :slap:
  13. Bantambunny does this sort of thing for a living
  14. perhaps monsieur bunny can help you, he's lurking around at the moment
  15. what rear weight and what rear wiper? :D :D done and done
  16. ...not me! the Z! Relegated the spare wheel to some dark corner of the garage and replaced with a large can of tyre weld. My electric driver's seat remains untrimmed - I intend to replace this with a manual drivers seat and trim that. The two remaining bits im thinking of is the N/A subframe (to junk the hicas) and naturally the diff as well ;) and perhaps the aircon. TBH i'll probably not go further than that as I want to keep the right ratio between performance and 'comfort'. Although annoyingly my distant future brake upgrade will pile it all back on again :( And I still struggle to save weight by constantly getting rid of that damn V-Power ;)
  17. what he said ^ yours is probably 7 in safty boost :D
  18. :hurl: :hurl: typical - they compare the size of it using a shotgun cartridge
  19. seriously if youre going from safety to im guessing 14psi with boost jets and chip you will f***ing notice the difference!!
  20. i would say yes but that would tempt fate so i'll say 97% perfect if you count the odd coolant loss here and there
  21. welcome and good luck in your search!
  22. the head developer of the game has just released the official car count: over 950   fook me!
