...anyone tried this yet (Famous Grouse Black) - I received a bottle for Christmas and I must say its gorgeous :tt1: really smooth and peaty just like a decent malt and nothing like the bite of blended whisky. might have to cut myself a shot or two now :duffer:

as above - the 'vertibles are too classy-looking for the viper wings :) voted no.

most games require updating once in a while as bugs are fixed, and the PS3 is updated once every couple of months or so. new games will often receive a patch within the first couple of months once the developers suddenly realise something was broken in the game! what sort of internet connection have you got Jeff as it should only take 3 mins or so for the average game update (including download and installation). the PS3 update is a hefty one and can take 10/15 mins depending on connection.

the stupid thing is though that just because you're of one faith it doesn't mean you get 'offended' by seeing another faith. i'm not exactly a devout Christian, but if I see a Mosque or a Gurdwara or Divali lights or Ramadan calendars, I don't get 'offended' by them just because they're symbols of other faiths. surely in today's 'equal rights' world where's the risk of offending Christians by having Divali - why not rename it to 'October Light Festival' so it doesn't offend Christians (or Muslims, or Jews). 'risk of offending other religions' is just the cover story for the real reason why important symbols and freedoms are being stripped from this country. same reason as 'you can't do that because of health and safety' and 'you can't do that because of global warming' are fronts for the real reason. it won't be long before this is a country of brain-numb zombies, hooked up intravenously to daytime TV, generating revenue only by voting for what colour pooh to show on-screen next, hopelessly reliant on government handouts, and who cares what flag is flying over town hall any more because it's 'racist' to show the U.J.. don't ask me what the real reason is though (probably something like annexing this country either to Europe or the US for a couple of billion quid :x: ) ...sorry I got a bit carried away there :blink: Merry Holiday everyone. :glare:

there should be a section next to each category where you can amend it. i cant remember whether transmission type is on the log book or not, but i certainly updated mine when i changed the paint colour.

i used to despise them all the way up to last year, then i suddenly started to love them!! as long as they're not too big and they have been well steamed.

Sometimes I kind of know what you mean mate. Especially when you see adverts on the telly with hundreds of people partying and handing food and presents around and smiling and cheering (although most of it is cheesy b/s! lol). I think the reality (esp. with the credit crunch) is quite different, but I suppose Christmas is what you make of it. I love the snow, I like to hear carols and see pressies under the tree (even if most of them aren't for me!) it reminds me of the excitement when i was a kid and the world was a much happier place. I guess all I can say mate is keep your chin up and dont let the expectations of what Christmas should be get you down. You'll always have friends on here :)

if its just the browser text thats too big then go to View menu and select Zoom - if the number's bigger than 100% then thats the problem and you can roll it back to 100% if it's the whole screen (eg. desktop) then the screen resolution may have been reduced, but that sounds too clever for a 7-month old to do! :)

we're getting a light dusting over here at the moment. thankfully ive got a day off today so will put the Z on maintenance charge, get her wrapped up warm over the weekend, then loaf out on my PS3 all day :dance: ...as for creaking targas - mine CRACKS - sounds like the glass is about to come in at any moment! having said that its probably cos i have to drive diagonally down the ramp so she flexes a little more.
