  1. at first glance they look like cylinder compression test results - decent figures would be 140+psi. if that's what they are then they look low but they are consistent (i.e. no zeroes!) having said that i don't think a conzult can do a compression test can it? if not then I can't imagine what would happen at 100rpm (other than inevitable stall!) :confused: I'm sure someone will clear it up in a jiffy

  13. mine's from my Z - it's kind of evolved three times, at least in terms of bodywork. first it was gunmetal grey, then the previous owner in Japan painted it white, then I had the first bodykit put on and painted blue, then I had it's current bodykit put on.
  14. lovely clean example there mate - for a brief second I thought it was Daves_Zed's old Zed. the only let-down for me would be that rear wiper - get a thinner one/stock one back on, or de-wiper altogether, looks so much smoother. :bow:

  18. a stock TT in good working order is about 1 sec faster to 60 so either a modded fiat, or yours needs a little TLC or down to driver skill. step 1: has yours been checked over properly for condition, e.g. boost leaks, ECU codes step 2: if car in good nick, up boost via jets (cheap) or controller (not so cheap) and cone intake (e.g. blitz, apexi, hks)

  20. sounds like a pipe's come off! seriously this happened to me recently but the whole pipe had come off causing juddering while attempting to boost (which I did once after it happened). thanks to Jeff for identifying and fixing it. i'm currently suffering from it again at the moment (running 17-18psi) so perhaps a more heavy-duty solution is required... ps. assuming your rides is up to date, I'd back that boost down to 15psi max pretty sharpish! :eek:

  23. agree with the above - i've always seen it this way: there tends to be a line in the sand at around 14.5psi, perhaps a smidgeon more. if you want to push above that line safely, then there is quite an expenditure involved, including uprated/aftermarket turbos, larger intercoolers, larger injectors, larger radiator, and matching map.
