1. i think when the 350 first came out I was quite underwhelmed with it - especially the change in shape, and when the 370 came out I was of the opinion that it was what the 350 should have been. but to be fair, the price of the 350 is so low now and the bang you get for your buck is such that I would be very tempted to buy one should I ever get rid of my 300 and my Civic.
2. sounds a bit like Ice-T but gotta have respect for the contents of his driveway!!
3. welcome to the club Prince!!
4. i took mine to a local car electronics place who are qualified to certify alarm installs - they produced a certificate for me when my insurance asked for proof. I've only been asked the once though...
5. congratulations Dave!!!! :hyper:
6. oh no :( RIP Norman, a true comedy genius. deaths always come in threes: Tony Curtis and the chap who created the A-Team have both died within the last week :(
7. as far as I'm aware if the unit is OFF then the car will be running at factory boost, i.e. 9.5psi. I'm unsure as to what the default settings are on the E-01. I have some experience in setting my own unit up manually, but I'm sure someone who knows more about tuning will be able to squeeze the best out of it. The main thing is to do it gradually and carefully as one wrong setting and bang!! I used to do a home to work run in the morning, keep an eye on the line graph, and then tweak the settings when i arrived at work. then try it out on the run home and tweak it again. this took about a dozen or so round trips to get to the settings I currently have. I always tried to find the optimum max boost in the higher gears (like 4th and 5th) with a low gain, and then once I'd achieved the boost I wanted that was safe in all gears, then tweak the gain up slowly so that it didnt overboost in 1st.
8. i know he gets really tied up with his day job so I'm sure he'll pick up your messages sooner or later
9. the cover of some wiring was sawn off by the moving throttle cable until the wire made a connection with the throttle cable!?!
10. i know - it was a twin-engined Z and the problem was with the engine in the boot!
11. very interesting stuff Vodka and if you watch the last quarter hour or so of Stephen's programme, he explains how we'll eventually have to leave this planet for whatever reason (either our sun dying, or a neighbouring sun going super-nova and releasing atmosphere-killing levels of radiation) and colonise a new one. but what he doesn't mention is that that could have already happened and we could be new arrivals on this planet. In fact, we could have done this a dozen times, perhaps data banks with our history/technology is either destroyed upon landing, or held very close to the chest of particular world leaders or key people in history. anyone who has completed Assassin's Creed 2 will know what I'm talking about here. skip the first minute until our hero Ezio meets the hologram of the woman. ...all heavy stuff I know and no I'm not about to go and join the Scientologists - I just enjoy thinking about this kind of s**t from time to time
12. did anyone see Stephen Hawking's Universe? fantastic stuff and IMO on par with David Attenborough's Earth series. I only caught the last episode which you can see below: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/stephen-hawkings-universe/4od#3123808
13. great work there Nick  true enthusiasm!
14. I liked the bit about trying to dump the fridge!! I saw Mickey Flanaghan in Northampton a few weeks ago and both he and his unknown warm-up act were brilliant! on a side note, is it me or is Michael Mcintyre the least funny comedian that there's ever been? who even laughs at his own 'jokes'
15. http://www.firebox.com ^ they have tonnes of cool stuff, gadgets, etc.
16. Other than my job and the Z, I waste my life on PS3 gaming and the internets, reading and watching films/comedy/retro TV, and gymming it once a week.
17. zmzcKXsllWs old one I know but tell me it's not worth digging up again!!
18. medium for me too. a little pink inside but nice and brown on the outside. rump/sirloin with fat chips and salad!
19. is she a real judge who makes real legal decisions on people's lives as if she were on the X Factor panel?? if so i think that's the dumbest part of the whole thing :(
20. I purchased my sideskirts from carlovincriminals about 3 years ago. the quality of the ones I received was good and as far as im aware the fitment was good too although the bodyshop had plenty to moan about with the front bumper which was fabricated by a bunch of cowboys who have changed their ebay name as often as Ive changed my underwear (which is at least five times this year!). but Car.Mad is your man for bodykit :)
21. roflmao!!!!! those covers from fleabay are good as long as the car is dry when they go on as they have a nasty habit of freezing to the car overnight and you risk tearing the breathable fabric when you try to take it off in the morning.
22. i'd say his skill and courage are equally matched by his stupidity and lack of respect for others' safety
23. im hoping i get that feeling back soon. after a load of relatively small problems she's been sat out front for a couple of weeks so far and I'm literally 50/50 whether to get rid or not. I found myself seriously considering a 350 instead, especially how cheap they are!!!
24. nice one Nick great to see it moving under its own steam. had to laugh though, 1:00 into your vid was just like the film Highwaymen with the squeaky car with one headlight that likes to run over people!
25. I ran a twin-filter setup through a single MAF like Alan is here and had lumpy idle problems, however the setup I had had a longer tube coming down from the MAF so that two Apexis would fit. Whether this was the cause or there was some other little fault I don't know.
