you only need a subscription for speed cameras and (I think) the live traffic update. I have a One and am really happy with it. Can update it for free just by plugging it into your PC.

cool - the AFC is something that should really only be tuned by a professional or someone with experience as getting the setting wrong could result in too lean a mixture (and detonation) or too rich a mixture (and poor running/borewash). I assume zero is a safe setting meaning no modification to the signal to the ECU, but I'm not a professional!

yeah I agree - I think it allows you to adjust the airflow reading that the ECU receives and therefore the richness of the mix. The AVC-R is a boost controller which allows you to control how much boost you run. Do you have the AVC-R as well (i.e. a black or blue digital screen with some arrow buttons at the side - similar to the S-AFC2 in the link above)?

ok the "Official cannot ever be delayed again" release date is Wed Nov 24th, which is pleasantly close! Apparently there are one or two people who managed to pick up copies off the back of a lorry, and I've seen the trophy list, so it looks like the game does actually exist! If this one gets delayed again, Polyphony Digital will have no further credibility in the gaming world, and probably no head office left either! roll on a week on Wednesday!!!!!!!!

I'm sure we all agree that it's the lazy b***ards who have never worked, or can't be arsed to get a job, that should be made to work. The point of the welfare system is to help people when they're in need - through serious illness, redundancy, hardship, whatever. Some people were better off on the old benefits system which prevented them from even attempting to find a job - this way it's tough love but in the long term no matter how much they hate working it'll do them the world of good both physically, mentally and for their self esteem. And I agree Ian - stop giving jobs to people who aren't from this country and give them to people who are from this country but don't have a job!! It's not b***ard rocket science! :headvswal
