  1. very good idea - and the prices are far cheaper than I thought they'd be!
  2. excellent episode - just the right balance of being informative and farting about. Tiff did an awesome job of showing that S1000RR how to do a lap! I don't think I've ever seen him driving in anger before! And I wonder who the fourth presenter is....?
  3. lol let's hope he didnt lay his pink slip down on that one!
  4. some sound editing software can strip out certain frequencies, like those that contain human voice, but it will usually be at the sacrifice of some of the music as well
  5. love that film - best one of the lot!
  6. Happy Birthday matey!!
  7. I was sent these the other day - probably old hat to engineers but I found some of them fascinating! 1: Aircraft Radial Engine 2: Oval Regulation 3: Sewing Machines 4: Malta Cross movement (second hand movement used to control the clock) 5: Auto Change file mechanism 6: Auto Constant Velocity Universal Joint 7: Naval Gun Ammunition loading system 8: Rotary Engine 9: Flat/Boxer Engine
  8. just what i was thinking!!
  9. sorry to hear of your loss mate :(
  10. I took my shroud off the middle of last year. seems to run a little warmer when stationary but other than that, no difference.
  11. Just had to post this: This magnificent example of good old British Engineering must have "turned-a-few-heads" in the States-over the years - wonder if you could hear the clock ticking ? some graduation gift-must have looked splendid with his cap & gown ......... Mr. Allen Swift ( Springfield , MA.) received this 1928 Rolls-Royce Picadilly P1 Roadster from his father, brand new - as a graduation gift in 1928. He drove it up until his death last year.....at the age of 102 !!! He was the oldest living owner of a car from new. He donated it to a Springfield museum after his death. It has 170,000 miles on it, still runs like a Swiss watch, dead silent at any speed and is in perfect cosmetic condition. (82 years) That's approximately 2000 miles per year... Now that is enthusiasm!!
  12. not sure if i like it or not - if he'd spaced the wheels out more then it would've been better. good effort, but, nah...
  13. probably not as cheap as those sh*te Nissan watches that seem to go up in their hundreds and make it harder to find the decent stuff
  14. fantastic work all - great to see a big project Z come to fruition!
  15. hi mate, welcome back!

  19. i know but it kind of loses the effect really... :clown:
  20. ive always thought this was a sexy bit of kit but I don't read enough to justify buying one. I think they should have a touch-screen so you can 'flick' the pages back and forth like an i-phone/i-pad. probably up the price too much i suppose...
