  1. Looks nice mate. I drove past Carbis Bay but didnt have time to stop. And just how the hell did you get your Z along some of those cornish roads without losing half the bodykit????? :)
  2. i just watched that clip and my jaw hit the table! those two idiots would make great stunt drivers but should be kept off public roads for life - autobahn or not :nono: :slap:
  3. i didnt see that!
  4. nearly, it was a meet for the local fishing boat lads. They mod their bodykits with things like "UI 4078" and add chrome bells, extra large fishing nets, Z Centre "Shark" front bumper.... and so on...
  5. Face 5/10 Body 124/10
  6. ...and finally me getting soaked from above and below in Fistral Bay (Newquay). There, now I've whored all my photos out Im going to nuke myself a ready meal and get my ass onto Doom 3! :)
  7. ... and Tregenna Castle hotel in St. Ives (£70 per nite with sea view - not bad considering!)
  8. Sennen Cove (about 1 mile from Land's End)
  9. Mevagissey (possibly the most gorgeous fishing village in the world)
  10. Lands End - including the first/last pub in England
  11. The second one mate - dont take the results of your poll too seriously!!! ;)
  12. No mate I was a wimp and stuck to me Fosters! Really should have checked out some of the local ale tho :( Actually TBH we got a bit stuck in Mevagissey with the one-way bit in the centre and the 7-foot-wide roads with hundreds of people walking across it. So much so that to find our hotel again we had to just drive out again half way back to Tregoney, then rally it through some country roads (how much fun!!!) and follow the roads back to Mev again. Thats what Cornwall's all about!!! :) :)
  13. Theres an eBay one going around - an email claiming that your details are incorrect and could lead to the suspension of your account and so on, but if you read the mail carefully there's some poor punctuation and spelling, and they spell the company Safeharbor (instead of Safeharbour). :mac1:
  14. How to avoid terrorism: SACK BLAIR!!!
  15.
  16. I was on the way back from Cornwall in a blue almera when you flew past in the fast lane towards Leicester. L-reg. Tried to catch up but gave up after about 10 seconds!
  17. I think it looks cool Richard. Not sure about the purple houses in the fifth one tho...
  18. aaaaanyway BTTT i think someone asked this a while ago - i find the 4 o'clock position works best for me (dont even GO there! )
  19. Hi everyone - I managed to swim back ok! :D Luckily I missed the terrible flood in Boscastle as we were on the way down when it happened. We stayed two nights in Newquay, looking around the beach and town there and generally just chilling out after a 5 hour drive (took me almost an hour to get from Oadby to Fosse Park cos of roadworks - normally a 15 min drive for non-Leicester guys). Then drove to St. Ives on Weds, booked into a castle (!) for the night, looked around Land's End and swam in Sennen Cove (weather absolutely gorgeous!) Then drove to Mevagissey on the south/west coast and looked around Truro, then shopped in St. Austell on fri morning before driving back (only a 7 hour journey back cos of rain/traffic!) Rain was so bad on the way back some poor guy in a land rover had to drive into the central reserv. to avoid rearing someone in front of him!! So all in all a great holiday and would recommend cornwall to anyone (plus had a bit of fun in the hired almera - havent driven a manual for over a year!) Will post a couple of piccies up in a sec.
  20. gah! the z's in the garage for a week! taking a hired almera! :(
  21. i know the feeling mate. mine was off the road for a week with a poorly radiator, got it back for 5 days, now its at the garage for a week. :(
