Craig David Posted August 19, 2004 Posted August 19, 2004 Apparently there's only six colours in the spectrum. The indigo and violet are one, not two. Isacc Newton was a 'Numerologist' who believed numbers held magical powers. Seven was a particularly significant number so he was keen to make out there were seven colours within the visible spectrum. Quote
