  1. At present, if you want to go for a MAP-based (speed-density) system on the Zed, you need to go for an aftermarket solution. I'm not sure it would be worth the large amount of plumbing involved to fit a sequential set-up on any V engine to be honest. You need exhaust gas from all 6 cylinders, plus various bypass valves to divert exhaust flow. As for mapping, there's no difference in method between single, parallel or sequential set ups. Generally-speaking where timing is concerned, you would have the most advance in the low to mid-range areas on the big single, and the least amount of timing for the quick-spooling twin sequential. Very generally-speaking. Not 100% sure what you mean though mate.
  2. Skyline GTRs (R32-R34) have parallel set-ups same as the Zed: 1 turbo per 3 cylinders.
  3. I have a soft spot for Imprezas, fancy part-exing with a stock JDM Auto TT showing 75k miles
  4. Great choice of car! Welcome to the club :)
  5. Sequential turbo set up, see the MKIV Supra (equal-sized turbos), FD3 RX7 (equal-sized turbos) & Legacy Twin Turbos (smaller + larger turbos) :)

Bit far for Midlanders mate

    That sounds perfect!
  8. Oh my word people! It's exactly the same scam! The same person, probably. None of them are very bright, it's a generic email sent out to loads of email addresses. Either ignore and doubt you'll hear anything else, although they will keep a 'record' of likely targets that actually do respond, or lead him on a merry dance :D SCAM!! - - - Updated - - - Hahaha, love it!
  9. Ahh. Remember the first time you ever removed a steering wheel (circa age 17, just back from Halfords, all excited with new wheel at the ready) prior to learning how important it was to leave the nut in place a couple of turns. "Come on you filthy piece of hhhggggnnnnnn....." "GrrraaaAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH......." *SMACK* "......................." "................................................." "Can someone help find my teeth? And my nose....? Ta."
  10. I'm running a single MAF with dual intakes. The idle issues can be resolved by having the IACV connected to both LHS & RHS turbo outlet pipes. Kits can be bought, I will be making one up myself, naturally :) Plus, as already stated, you need an ECU programmed to suit the new set up. Although it is commonly stated you don't need to go to a dual intake set up until 500bhp, it really does help the turbos spool up and the engine breathe easier. Removes a lot of restriction.
  11. Hahaha, from the Ukraine this time perhaps? I guess I'm jaded from having been selling online for so long, people do still get caught out by these scammers :(
  12. Wait, what? "Mark Smith" from Russia? You're kidding, right? Come on dude, this has cracked me right up. Helloooooooo?!
  13. At that point, it is blatantly a scam. He'll send the first email out in bulk to as many ebayers as his grubby little fingers can type. About 8 yrs ago, I lead one on for weeks, was a hoot! Fake cheque and everything. At the end of it, I spoke to him on the phone (he called me, naturally) and after a goood 10 minutes of wasting his credit, I just laughed at him and told him he had been reverse 419'd. Item was a Fiat Uno Turbo, fake cheque for £3500. Daughter very ill in hospital. How I cried...
  14. 3 bar with the vac line to the FPR disconnected.
  15. Just how big is your monitor dude? I'm on a 23" widescreen jobbie and it still fills up over half the browser window height-wise. Nice eye candy though!
  16. It's the biggest sig you will ever see
  17. I thought the power switch just makes the box hold on to each gear for longer? The moment you give it any meaningful acceleration it automatically goes into power mode anyway. Edit: misread what had been already written  Don't think it has any bearing on RPM limit though.
