  1. I want the bonnet & rear hatch :)
  2. Hi, Thank you for the kind comments. Although it is more than possible to provide a chip for 555s, I would recommend a proper remap on the standard ECU. This is still possible for me to do from the other side of the world, but would require you to have a NIStune board fitted and to take logs with a wideband lambda sensor & knock sensor fitted. If you were to fit a standalone ECU, it could also be done remotely, of course. If you don't already have a wideband & knock sensor set up capable of data logging, taking it to a dyno would be the cheapest option. Thanks :)
  3. This is where I routed my wideband cable, which is about 10mm thick. Plenty of room and easy to get to. For the boost gauge line, I went through the grommet underneath the battery tray. This was a pain to do.
  4. If no one knows, cut it and measure it mate. 4PK1013 is a 4 ridged 1013mm long belt for example.
  5. Great stuff, just ensure base timing is set to 15° BTDC when fully warmed up.
  6. Hello & welcome! Lovely looking Zed, any pics of the 180SX as well please :D
  7. It wouldn't have been the fact that they were PFR6B-11, it would have been because they were old if they were the cause of the misfire. I run NGK BCR8ES with a 0.9mm gap which are much shorter than the OEM plug at 1.4 bar and have never had the spark blown out. In fact, the only cars I've ever had where that has been a problem was a Sapphire Cosworth on BCR8ES and my S13.
  8. Turbos don't need to be run in, there are no contacting metal parts. Too small a gap doesn't cause det, the only thing with regards to a spark plug that can cause knock is if you're running too hot a grade.
  9. The definitive answer is the biggest gap possible without the spark plug being blown out. On a standard car with standard plugs, you just use the specified gap, which would be 1.1mm straight out the box. Running a 0.8mm gap shouldn't cause you any issues. How does the car drive? Is the misfire gone? Are you only getting stock boost with the intake & exhaust upgrades?
  10. You don't want to use the elbows, it's too hot and the sensors won't last very long. A good place for the wideband lambda sensor is towards the end of the decats, perpendicular to the flow of exhaust gas and above the horizontal to avoid damaging the sensor due to condensation. On my own car, I run a single wideband in the driver's side exhaust pipe, as it runs slightly leaner than the passenger side. I've hooked sensors up to both sides to check. If you're after an AEM wideband gauge, let me know and I'll see if I can get you the best price :)
  11. Phew! I've been meaning sub up over on ZClub. Subbed to so many forums at the moment though, costs a bloody fortune
  12. It's just that it's for ZClub members. The track time... I'll be there anyway, probably in the Zed, too :D
  13. Single use turbos  Love it.
  14. Erm, what's happened here then?
  15. Wow. That is my favourite looking Zed of all time. The only thing different I would have different is a slightly lower offset on the rear wheels to fill the flare a bit more. Absolutely stunning, have you got any more pics?
  16. The engine bay looks quite tidy, terrible advert though. I'd say it could be worth a visit, but it does look hideous. Saying that, it's got an SAFC2. Not the best way to go about tuning a car. Proceed with caution
  17. Hello & welcome :D

Wherever is good for me. Let's just get on it :D
  19. What issues are you experiencing?
  20. Hahaha, I'm popping up on the 16th all being well, so you can say it to my face. Whilst we eat ice cream and I try to decipher what the hell it was you just said to me. In fairness, for a northerner you're not too bad, I could understand almost 75% of what you were saying on the phone.
  21. I'm no "chav". I do however have various high-powered cars to maintain which will be at Santa Pod :)
  22. Welcome to the club acsnaz :cool3:
