  1. So much conjecture in one thread. All this is pointless without proper measurement.
  2. Mine hit mid 12s with launch control & Nittos, but I would be surprised if it did a mid 4s 0-60!
  3. I will have a set of genuine JWT 530BB ball bearing turbochargers available for sale soon. They are being fully rebuilt with BRAND NEW cores (CHRAs), so they are essentially a pair of brand new turbochargers. Complete with adjustable actuators. Very quick spooling turbos and good for 530bhp. Price for these turbos are over £1500 at the current exchange rate before import duties & tax. Priced to sell at £1300.
  4. What's the full spec of your car? Front mount intercoolers are fine. I've witnessed exactly the same temps during countless 1/4 mile runs & dyno sessions as with side mounts. The Z32 is a heavy, comfortable & stable car. If you want to make it less heavy (light is not a word synonymous with Zeds), you need to go all out and do it properly. Removing a few KGs of plastic trim isn't going to net any real world performance gains, but it will make the inside of your car look worse. Although every little bit adds up, it's not really worth doing for a road car IMO. I'm putting trim back in mine and I've just removed my carbon fibre seat for a pair of Series 2 manual seats.
  5. My WRX Prodrive daily only has a paltry 261bhp (if that) and it would annihilate 99% of Zeds to 60mph. 4.5s to 60mph in a 1600kg front-engined RWD car from the 90s will take some doing.
  6. 2 years ago it took me 8.25s to reach 86mph if that means anything
  7. There'll be a nice yellow streak down the near side as well...
  8. Happy Birthday :pint:
  9. Funny pics only in this thread please :wack: For example:
  10. That's exactly right to determine base boost.
  11. Not read the whole thread, so this has probably been said, but to determine the spring pressure of the external wastegates, simply connect them directly to a pressure source.
  12. Brand new & boxed GReddy Profec B Spec 2 boost controller in silver. £200 delivered.
  13. Taxed both of mine plus the 172. Thank God for the new DD option!
  14. I was until about 3 minutes ago when I had another idea. The underside & turrets are like new, shell is minty mint!
  15. He can have my LWB Zed! Reckon I could even have it TT'd within his budget!
  16. He has a GTST to break for parts :)
  17. There are different ways to arrive at the car you wish to own. It doesn't have to be a case of "wait until the right one comes up", just the same as you don't need to buy an NA and do a TT swap. I bought my first Zed simply because it was available and it was an itch to scratch. I only ended up with that particular car because the seller wanted my £440 Forester SF5 as a straight swap and agreed to drive it down from Glasgow to Newcastle where I was buying a TT Soarer which lasted all of 3 months in the stable.
  18. I've had an idea Mr Fish! I am putting my TT engine & setup along with some extra PowerZed goodies into my freshly-acquired SWB, which will leave me with a black NA manual LWB :D
  19. I reprogram ECUs & map NA - TT conversions fairly regularly. It doesn't take weeks & weeks :)
  20. Hello & welcome :)
  21. BCR8ES for 1.5 bar.
