  1. My car is at PowerZed HQ for the next round of upgrades, so no racing for me (not in the Zed, at any rate).
  2. JaffaZ32 & Jaffa (Kaiju Project) are two different people :D My join date is old school, but that was due to needing Z32 MAFs for other Nissans. I only bought my LWB in late 2011!
  3. Most definitely Steve. You've had a taste of what it can do, time for the main course :D
  4. As above, it's the MAF or associated wiring.
  5. 13.17s is good in those conditions! Nice one :)
  6. Yeah, shifter is in the wrong way round.
  7. Oh yes, mapping PowerZed builds is a no-brainer!
  8. I must have written the words "Jimmer/PowerZed" a hundred times in our correspondence over the last couple of weeks  All my Zeds go down to Jimmer/PowerZed for service work & anything mechanical. As do all my other cars. The last three PowerZed-built cars I have mapped have been 569bhp & 577lb·ft, 563bhp & 542lb·ft and 621 & 59xlb·ft. SWB went down there on Weds for service, LWB is going down tomorrow/today for HICAS delete once I'm done on the dyno in Leicester.
  9. Drove the SWB 120 miles to Jimmer @ PowerZed for a full service and thorough check-up (only the best will do). Picked up some big-spec cylinder heads for the LWB development mule and some back-to-back testing on the dyno. Pending the results, fully-built cylinder heads will be available in various specification levels. Short blocks & long blocks as well.
  10. Did you run at all? The weather forecast was mainly rain for Pod and it was pretty grim in Leicester, so I gave it a miss :( Bought a new helmet for this season though!
  11. I reckon that little Civic would give the floundering MP4-30 a run for its money  Recent data has shown that Alonso simply fell asleep at the wheel in Barcelona.
  12. They've changed the picture :D
  13. Hahah I do map internationally and they say imitation is the kindest form of flattery. But no, they're not my maps. Feel free to bid and leave negative feedback as I am currently away mapping Hondas!
  14. Engine condition? Mileage? Usage? I've run the following, in chronological order: Semi synthetic 10W40 Fully synthetic 5W40 HKS fully synthetic 10W45 Fully synthetic 10W60

  16. Don't waste time making guesses, just get it diagnosed via Consult first & foremost, then have the AFR checked if the sensor outputs are correct :)

  18. Another shout for Jimmer @ PowerZed. A lot of people travel from all over the UK for him to work on their Zed. Myself included :)
  19. This! Same here! It's just some biased info I found on the interweb extolling the virtues of flushing the 1JZ  I have a good friend that has done more oil changes and built & sent more high-spec engines around the world than (probably) anyone on here, and he looked at me like I was crazy. I also have a good friend that has built more engines than most on here, and he swears by it. I've only done it on my own high-performance turbocharged cars that I've owned, and it's worked perfectly. Then it's followed by an oil change after a couple weeks. When the VG gets torn down for inspection, will post the pics.
  20. More good info: http://www.soarerworld.com/forum/showthread.php?27682-Should-I-do-a-engine-flush
  21. I need to buy a new helmet too, keep forgetting! Just found this from 2013:
  22. That was up for sale in early 2014 I think. Grim.
  23. Fish & chips. Best thing about Whitby.
