  1. I use 0.25W. I have tons of the things.
  2. They're comfortable & sturdy. I have a set in my LWB & SWB.
  3. Not just Nissan, but every manufacturer in their aim for a refined driving experience. The Nissan 200SX S13 was not equipped with a pressure relief valve of any kind, and turbo longevity was not an issue.
  4. Compressor/turbine wheels do not decelerate suddenly due to turbos momentarily operating to the left of the surge line on gear changes (what I call "off-boost surge"). "Stall" is an aerodynamic term that describes the separation of airflow from the top side of an aerofoil, in this case it occurs at the rear of the compressor blades due to a sudden increase in pressure at the front of the blades when the throttle shuts. You get the familiar CHA-Cha-cha sound (often mistakenly called wastegate chatter) which abates over time as flow stability across the blades is regained and the pressure pulses decrease in amplitude.
  5. I've been running without BOVs for years. 1.7bar on the stock auto turbos. No issues. 1.9 bar on a Pulsar 2 bar on another Pulsar 2.3 bar on an MR2 Turbo 1.7 bar on an S13. 1.5 bar on a Fiat Coupe A Zed running 1.6bar on GTX2860s, used for drift. No BOVs or recircs. There are no issues with running without BOVs or recircs in my experience.
  6. You can't do a proper compression test by hand.
  7. Best compression results I've ever seen.
  8. I've bought many Zeds over the last couple of years in various states from shonky to supreme. If you're looking for a project, why buy one that looks atrocious to begin with? You've posted a link to a possible scrapper that hasn't seen the road for 6 years at relatively strong money. The opinions & views on the car will be fairly unanimous based on the pictures and information. The red one you viewed was always going to be a 400bhp car, too :D
  9. Other than that all is a complete unknown you mean.
  10. The sensors don't last very long if you put them where the stock narrow-band sensors go. Plus, you'll lose lambda feedback functionality. O2 sensor bungs and welding them in the downpipes works well. Perpendicular to the flow, above the horizontal. Let me know if you need an AEM dual wideband kit :)
  11. Time it right when I'm down there and the AFR can be monitored as well :)
  12. What engine management is it running?
  13. My car makes 570bhp and hooks up well in 2nd due to the power delivery & 275 tyres. Without the dyno, I would use the AFM voltage to give me an idea rather than any traction issues
  14. You pay champagne money for a glass of urine.... Seriously though, if you want it fully checking over prior to purchase, let me know. Full diagnostic including AFR. If he's agreeable to bring it over to Leicester prior to a sale, can give it a more thorough going over :)
  15. I also have a very nice Zed for sale soon that can be specced to requirement, with a freshly-built engine by Jimmer/PowerZed (once he gets back from his hols) :cool3:
  16. Haha, I lived there for nearly a decade. Great place to visit....
  17. 1. Jaffa 2. Noz 3. Iangreenfield 4. (adl)phoenix 5. Slick Pete 6. Mikey 7. Silverline 8. 9. 10.
  18. Where are all these big power builds? Hurry up and get them finished people
