  1. Lee, I’m being told I’m only allowed a MAXIMUM of 4 votes.
  2. The car is now SORN. I still need to sort out the insurance but I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into my refurb.
  3. Hi mate. You could enter your chassis number into the GTR-registry and that should tell you all about the car from the factory.
  4. Thanks guys, I’ll make a few calls. My renewal quote for this year was only £145 but I was hoping that as it was off the road I’d be able to get it sorted for under £50.
  5. My insurance, tax and MOT are all due to expire this month and I’m toying with the idea of getting the car SORN with the intention of stripping the underside for a refresh. However I’m wondering if I can insure the 300 while it’s off the road and if so what I need to ask for (it would be just my luck if I had a garage fire). So can you get SORN cover and if so who is recommended? Many thanks for your advice, Chris.
  6. I couldn’t even pretend to know but on cold winter days the boost pressure would go up to my set limit and the EBC would stop it going any higher.
  7. My old one did have a nice warning tone if it was over boosting on cold days. Can you hear it from the glove box though?
  8. Thanks Ian. The glove box is an obvious place but, much like yourself, I would forget about it. I have thought about mounting it in the lower radio/CD player hole and creating a cover plate made from the OEM CD player to hide the EBC day to day, then I can remove the cover when I feel like a more spirited drive is in order.
  9. I would like to run an EBC. I’ve had one on a previous car and loved the ability to monitor boost and the changing numbers when the weather changed. My main issue with fitting one to the 300 is mounting it in a subtle position. If anyone has some smart ideas please show them off.
  10. Nice clip and soundtrack but the image quality doesn’t seem up to you usual standard bug that may just be my phone messing it up.
  11. It’s too much but I think a white 300 with red leather seats and red alcantara might look very smart.
  12. Have a great day guys. Lots of pictures please.
  13. D No time like the present.
  14. Dave, have you got a build thread? I wish more of our subscribed members had one, I think it would help with subscription if we did have more as new registered members would see these “teasers” and want to know more.
  15. I have a single gauge A pillar pod which you’re welcome to have FOC Howard. It was fitted in my last 300 and IMO was very subtle, the only issue I had with it was that it looked plastic. I intended to wrap it in leather but didn’t get round to it. PM me if you want it.
  16. Great work, it’s getting me juiced for my underside refurb.
  17. Ok, no problem. I’m up that way for an interview, so fingers crossed I should be in the area more often soon anyway.
  18. I’m in fleet on Friday. If it hasn’t gone by then I’ll come and rescue these parts from the skip if that’s ok? Cheers, Chris.
  19. I can’t wait to change the clutch on my car. It’s ruining the fun of driving it but I want to drop and new “99 box in at the same time and I can’t justify the money at the moment.
  20. Very nice Andrew, I can’t wait to see it myself.
  21. Sorry Howard but I can’t get the time off.
  22. Thanks guys, I’ll get on that.
  23. Do rad caps need to be replaced every now and then? Mine may very well be original, if not at least 10 years+ as it was garaged for a long time before my ownership.
