  1. Really pleased for ya Posidrive:) Lets leave the poor animals out of it shall we. The most destructive thing on this planet is us! As for the goverment and its stupid laws, don't get me started. We are getting more like the Yanks by the day with everything! It's seems the plan nowadays is to take someone to court and screw as much money outta them for the smallest of incidents! I'm guessing the guy was after compensation for the "life threatening" injuries your dog had inflicted on him as well as having the poor dog destroyed? Anyone here seen Demolition man with Wesley Snipes and Sandra Bullock? Well I reckon thats the way the so called civilised world is heading. I don't know about anyone else but I still enjoy having sex with a women physically, not via a virtual reality machine! Coffee? No sorry, that might kill ya! Sort it out someone! Justin
  2. I have ripped it all out again, can someone point me in the direction to where the input to the speed sensor is?
  3. Yeah, my steering goes heavy after about 2 mins. Does anyone know if its possible to plug the wires in the wrong sockets or would they not fit? Maybe I have done this.
  4. I don't know about everyone else but I am getting a wee bit worried that alot of these insurance schemes are either being stopped altogether or having big restrictions slapped on them compared to say just 6 months ago. Justin
  5. I am starting to think it all points towards the speed sensor but how could I have damaged something on the gearbox by removing the cluster on the dash? Justin
  6. LOL, looks like another long day dismantleing stuff again tomorrow then. From doing a search it looks like it could be either the speed sensor of the converter box. Would this seem about right?
  7. Right, to add to my growing list of problems, after a trip to the local boozer I have now noticed the steering to be a little heavier than usual and the Hicas warning light flashes on after about 2 mins of driving. Oh yeah and the cherry on top, I just lost 7-1 to my mate at pool!:( Please help!!!!
  8. Cheers Chris, I guess there is a silver lining there after all! :D
  9. In need of some more help guys:( I have just spent all morning doing this - http://www.angelfire.com/geek/vg30dett/Cluster/Fix_Cluster.htm to fix my dodgy intermittent odometer. All went well and to plan as far as I noticed but though I better take it out on a test drive to make sure. Guess what?!!! My odometer now does not work atall and to add insult to injury nor does my speedo now  Can anyone please try and shed some light on what I might have done wrong. I do have a little black box to convert the odometer to miles etc. Would it be anything to do with me forgetting to connect it up or anything? (although I am 100% sure I did). Cheers guys, Justin
  10. Snooper S4 neo is the one to go for. Does everything the Road angel does but also has a built in 360 degree laser detector too. I love mine. Think it is also a fair bit cheaper if you to to http://www.dabs.com Justin
  11. Wish I could pick out one decent player from the England side but can't. Wayne Bridge maybe?
  12. If its gonna cost me as much as £15 per corner I reckon this place might not be the cheapest option. Nevermind, worth a shot.
  13. Anyone have a clue what a tyre fitting place is going to charge to fit a pair of tyres if you buy them elsewhere mail order? I would imagine they are not going to do you any favours if you didn't buy the tyres from them. Have found a very cheap place on the internet. http://www.johnsonstyres.com Thanks, Justin
  14. Well, I only hope it gets across to those money robbing dicks in office!
  15. LMAO! Thats so wrong!
  16. How about one of the greatest cars ever made for a grand. If I only saw it before the person who bought it did. Would of been an easy way to double your money! http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_search.asp?modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=PEUGEOT&model=205&variant=&keywords=gti&min_pr=75&max_pr=&mileage=4&agerange=&postcode=gu16+5hf&miles=1500&max_records=200&source=0&sort=3&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH Its the one at the top of the page. Justin
  17. I hope that doesn't mean we are all in for a shock come renewal time then! :(
  18. Will see what I can do to make this one. About time I met a few more of you local ones. Justin
  19. Thats what is to use its proper name an LPL controller. I have one to control my Phoenix Gold amp. I don't know what the connector looks like that plugs into the amp. You might have trouble finding an amp that will have this feature nevermind if the connector on your LPL will fit. Its only worth about £20 anyway so don't let it limit you to what amp you end up with. I have a very nice brand new and boxed Phoenix Gold Tantrum 600.4 600watt 4 channel amp for sale if you are interested? Justin
  20. If insurance is the thing stopping you getting an import then why not buy a cheap daily driver as your main car and get the zed on a limited mileage scheme from Hougtons insurance on here. Many of us in our mid/late 20's are insuring our Zeds this way for well under £300! Just think of the savings on petrol and wear and tear you will make by only using the Zed for social stuff. Enough to pay for the running cost of the daily driver I reckon! I know it works for me. Hope this helps and good luck in finding a good one. Justin:)
  21. Thanks Aaron, I have tracked down the post thanks to advanced search. Look like 975mm is the standard jap spec height from the top of the spoiler to the ground:)
  22. Yeah, that seems like a good enough idea. Cheers Scoops. Ok then, any one running standard ride height here? Justin
  23. In need of help yet again. Now this sounds like a stupid question and might well only require a stupid answer to sort it. :D I am fitting a camber correction kit soon and I assume to get it set up right I will need to know what sorta drop my car is running. Trouble is the car came from Japan ready lowered so don't have a clue what springs I am running therefore at a loss as to how much its been dropped. Any idea how I can tell? Justin
  24. Time for a search. But to save you the hassle, its gotta be manual. And if you want ultimate performance, best make sure its red! :D
  25. Geoffrey (to viewers): " It's time for us all to go now, but don't forget to get your twangers out and play with your balls." "See you soon. Bye." PMSL
