  1. Welcome and any pics of the car? ...................................(ssshh!...whispering ...the Stag I mean!...)
  2. I have recently trawled Japanese auction sites and z32s are definitely thin on the ground now over there compared to a few years back. There are loads of 350Zs like it used to be with Z32s. Good cars are commanding stronger money in japan (and V.strong money in Australia compared to here).
  3. I'm sure that belonged to someone one here just around christmas
  4. Dont forget DENIM...."when a man doesn't have to try .....TOO hard...."
  5. HEY!.....who's been in my bathroom with a camera?
  6. That one's probably from a capri!
  7. ...send some to Veilside for a trial.......be careful if you need a heatgun to get it off!
  8. This stuff is not silicone. It doesnt cure. Its like thick black tarry peanut butter. After you apply it to your car, you'll be on here asking how to clean it off. Steer clear mate!
  9. Still not unreasonable by the sound of it and not too long to agree an outcome, good result.
  10. God news. Well done. Just for reference, what insurance company are you with, they sound like reasonable people.
  11. I had a leak in an old zed, I fitted brand new door and targa seals etc and could cure it. Eventually with carpet removed I could see it was coming in at the overlap join half way up the bulkhead behind and above the pedals. The car had been bumped at some point and the join had been disturbed in the impact causing an ingress of water at times. Good luck with it.
  12. I hope he gets his £15k. As said before, these cars are on the up and the ripple effect on values does everyone a favour
  13. .........and it if it was a watercooled 911 it would probably be as reliable as an old zed!
  14. My insurance co offered me a £40 discount if I took a dashcam. I declined as I dont want my exquisite road manners to be viewed by anyone!
  15. bnr34 cant sell on here..........he's not subscribed
  16. I dont know if its a witch hunt but I understand that there's plenty of Zed guys in the states who are anti AMS. I am neither for or against. AMS are known for copying innovations created by real Z enthusiasts/engineers and this is a real issue with a lot of the Zed community over there. The quality of their stuff can vary a lot from acceptable to comically wrong!
  17. Yes it probably will, maybe a greater chance of there being a quality issue/manufacturing defect but you get what you pay for!
  18. I remeber 20yrs ago, same thing. I went to London to buy a Z28 Camaro. So excited, got a flight to Heathrow, tube/trains to Walthamstow station to be met by a guy in a painted up camaro (he said it was original and he had it since new! !) With neon pink wipers and sunstrip. Chunks out of wheels. Interior like a cowshed. When we left the station I asked if he had two camaros...........No!! Only this one!!.........I got a flight back home!!!! Still.....it all adds to life's rich tapestry! (Would like to do it too often though) Some people just dont really bother about descriptions. To some, " good condition" is just that, to others scruffy is good condition. I hate it when people cant describe accuratley though.
  19. If your going to have a spoiler, fit a proper one. Look at a Plymouth Superbird for Inspiration.
  20. The only thing bovs do is make a noise. (Possibly useful performance aid if you're shooting for 1000bhp)
  21. They dont always understate the value.... some shippers- UPS for one, collect duty/ taxes on behalf of Uk govt. They contact you when they have your package and bill you duty/taxes before delivery so not always guaranteed to make big savings. (Courtesy nissan always used UPS when I bought stuff)
