If i manage to get my car back on the road for more than 500miles i'll be at a few meets this year :headvswal I missed out last year as it was at a Z Garage from April till November, when they re-built it, and she's now back in again since feb to rectify issues :headvswal I'd also like to get involved more with events, but finding, and being able to rely on a decent Z mechanic is my main issue.... :smash:

VW Golf GT TDi?....depends if practicality has to be the overriding factor?! this is my daily runaround and fairly nippy. I do get the odd 'hairdressers car' comments though! If you're opposed to the heavy oil burners you could opt for the 2.3 V5 engine which are good for 170Bhp standard! Both engine options come in a variety of other cars to look at if the golf does'nt appeal......Not sure on consumption of the R32, but very well put together V6's with exelent handleing!

I'd replace the slave unit and then bleed again 2/3 times....bleeding from the slave and then the drivers side wing alternatly several times. I replaced the slave cylinder when my clutch was done 2 years ago as a precaution so assume as you've done the master, that the slave is now the weakest point?! of course if there is no pressure then it could be fluid leaking past the seals you've replaced and might be worth doing that job again when doing the slave cylinder...

Stellaz.....I think it was probably 'her' plumbing she was wanting you to look at??!!! The heating and toilet extras were just an excuse?!!.....She obviously wasn't fit or getting on a bit that you never cottoned on, or we'd be reading a different post and she'd have had her tap washer done for free no doubt!!!
