I managed to change all the pipes and valves without removing any other parts, except the one at the rear, just could not get to it so left it in the end, but changing all the others stopped the smoking anyway.

Good luck fixing that, I scrapped mine which was in a similar state, but mine was a uk car, I'm surprised at the state of that if its a jap import. I found 20p, a biro and a hair grip under my seats when I stripped it.
