I have started stripping my car, it is quite interesting, but not having a huge amount of knowledge about zeds I have come across a few parts which I am unsure what they are. I have attached pics of two boxs that were behind the rear qtr panels, also what are the three rads infront of the engine for? The one nearest the engine is the normal radiator, but then there is a smiliar sized one infront of that and then a smaller one infront at the front of the car, I presume the front small one is the oil cooler? but what is the middle rad? Can anyone help identify them for me?

I have a UK and mine is really rotten, I have just started stripping it and found even more rust and holes in the process. With the price of some of the shells I have seen I am going keep a look out for a new shell to just transfer my engine and gearbox into.

I would hold out for more, get some adverts of cars for the price you think you should be getting and send them to them. I rejected two offers on one of my old cars before accepting.

I want one, no more cats causing a problem in the garden.

I've been through it aswell, had been with my ex for eight years when she moved out with my two children, it takes time but it does get better.

I have just taken my rear cards out today, mine were on top of the boot trim so I did not need to remove then, don't know if that is standard or how someone has left it, also found some yellow and black wires under the drivers side rear qtr, both wires cut and I have no idea what they were from, also found someones finger nail:hurl:

Sorry I will be keeping the clocks for the new car. The exhaust will be up for sale, I will PM you details when I have taken it off if you want. Might not be until late next week though.

I am going to hang onto the door cards and re-trim them, to get rid of the nasty tweed, as I believe they are the same size for LWB and SWB.

WTF that cannot be real.

I have just started removing some of the interior, I need to get it done quickly though because of the space problem, my partner is adamant that I get another zed so thats good, Just got to find a new daily driver first.

As some of you may have seen on one of my previous posts my zed has rotted and I am going to scrap it. I need to get rid as soon as possible as I don't have room to get the new car on the drive at the moment. I am going to keep the engine & gearbox for my next project, are there any other parts which I need to make sure I keep. I will be keeping all the obvious ones like lights seats etc, just wondering if any of the electrics etc inside are worth anything. Having never broken a car before is there a good order to start stripping things? How long does it normally take? My car is a LWB and will be looking at a SWB for the engine to fit into so some of the parts I will be looking to sell on. Alex
