  1. Happy Birthday
  2. Double for me, just don't like the look of quads and singles.
  3. Yeah, I bought a 1994 Cavalier 2.0 SRI a couple of years later for £400 off ebay and that was a good car, gearbox was fantastic totally different car to the CDX cavalier.
  4. 1995 Vauxhall Cavalier 2.0 CDX I bought it from a ford main dealer for £5500 and in the first six months it went back about twenty times for repairs. It had three new ECU's (well I was told they were new), cambelt broke and it needed a full engine re-build, anti roll bar snapped, tyres would not stay inflated as the alloys had started flaking. In the end I paid the finance company to take to away I was that fed up with it. Ended up buying a £200 Astra instead and loved it.
  5. Nice, I wonder how long it is till they try that again.
  6. I enjoy watching them, we need a new series with a zed in it.
  7. Good read, totally agree about the state of this country,
  8. Very impressed, the ebay unit sounds alright aswell.
  9. Sad news, I remember watching his programs when I was a kid.
  10. I was told I needed glasses at 14, got by without them until my driving lessons at 17, then only wore them for driving and got my eyes lasered at 28.
  11. They are good, I like the look at the four dots and then onto a plain wall and seeing the image of a face.

Gearboxes and propshafts are different, but fit both engines. NA gearbox will require NA clutch & flywheel but you can modifiy the bellhousing if you want to fit TT clutch/flywheel. You would need to weld on brackets for the Intercooler piping as the NA chassis is missing them. Fuel pump is different (easy swap) ECU is different (easy swap) EFI Wiring loom is different, you would need to fit a Electronic Boost controller. Above is from Legrath from one of my old posts about swopping shells.
  13. Welcome to the club
  14. When I was about 14, a guy that lived opposite one of my friends had a black one, brand new about 18 years ago, I loved the look and sound of it. The same friend then bought a grey import TT when I was about 24, the first time I went out in it I was amazed at the power, decieded that when I had the money I would buy one, 7 years later I got my first TT.
  15. Looks really good in the photos
  16. Well done Murt
