  1. I went for improved stock, I like the standard look with small detail changes to make them more upto date looking.
  2. That does not sound good news
  3. That looks fantastic, I get fed up with hoovering dog hairs every day, I wonder how often it needs emptying? Will have to think about getting one of these when we need a new hoover.
  4. Looks expensive, pity about the intake pipes.
  5. My amp remote wire is blue.
  6. My UK spec had 138k on the clock and the engine was fine, but the body had rotted underneath, have a good look underneath, round the rear arches is where mine had the biggest problem, some UK models are still solid though. Good luck, hope to see some pics if you get it.
  7. Surley when you talk tv breasts Sarah Beeny has got to get a mention.
  8. I had a CBR600 a few years ago, was very happy with it, never had any issues over the time I had it, only got rid of it because I wanted something a bit more powerful.
  9. Not long now then, where are you getting it sprayed?
  10. Here is a link, don't know if its the best one or not, it is on my list of things to do. http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=880107&forum=technical&dtSearch=4
  11. Looks likes Machines Pentroof http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=363
  12. I don't like the look of those do-luck things, look a bit bloaty.
  13. Sorry, not that keen on the black wheels, I'm not normally a big fan of the standard wheels, but I quite like the pic in your sig with the standard wheels on.
  14. £35:eek: I paid £6 for mine last week and thought I over paid for that.
  15. I currently have my engine (TT) and various other parts scattered around the house after my old zed rotted away. I had been hoping to get the engine rebuilt and then start looking for a new SWB shell, but my partner recently changed her job and money is alot tighter at the moment so I am thinking about a new plan. My engine was running ok before I removed it so I was thinking of just doing a few small jobs on it myself, all low cost and putting it into a new SWB shell as soon as I can find one. I can always remove it again later for a full engine rebuild when funds permit as it will be a weekend car only. It has already had a few bits done before such as cambelt/waterpump/plugs/PTU. I was thinking of refurbing the turbos myself 'J1mmytt style' Is this the kit I would need ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=120283697406 and is anywhere else cheaper? I was also thinking putting a new knock sensor + harness and removing the EGR. I will also need a new loom and the heater hoses at the rear of the engine. Has anyone got any recommendations of what else I should do to the engine prior to putting it in?
  16. Nice one, 3 minutes is more zed driving than I am getting at the moment. Still waiting for my first 'spotted skylinedave' thread.
  17. Not a fan of the smooth look on LWB's, your car looks good as it is. I think the rear tints might be a bit too much black. Ride height could go down a small amount at the rear.
  18. And hope it does not look like this when you remove it.
  19. 16:00hrs today on Victoria Park Road, Leicester I followed a red SWB with ferrari style rear lights and a rear screen/tub conversion.
  20. Beat me to it, he is growing fast.
