  1. I understand what they are saying, there is a lad in our village who is a similar age to me, never had a job and he has gone from living in a poxy little flat to a three bed house, which he has just extended to nearly double the size of the old house, he drives a brand new disco3 and his girlfriend has got a brand new peugeot. How does he afford all this?? I work my arse off at work, never been out of work since school and I struggle to have any sort of social life after I have paid my bills each month, then I see him driving around the all day with his mates just having a laugh.
  2. If it had been a SWB shell I would have been very tempted to take it, I'm sure someone on her must have a rusting car that would benefit from a shell swop. How much is left on the shell, is it still rolling?
  3. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=109277&referrerid=12275 Think that this is the last for sale thread on here, I have since seen it on pistonheads again. Nice looking car, I was very tempted to buy it myself.
  4. Very nice, I have always wanted a pick up for some reason.
  5. Hello and welcome to the club
  6. Happy Birthday
  7. Voted for Si version
  8. I will have to look at that then, I know it needs to get the RROD for it to be covered, but it can be forced into that easily enough. Thanks.
  9. Have spoken to a friend who said that if the console is within three years old then Microsoft will fix it for free, guess what?? its three years and three weeks old. After some more research it does look like its the solder joints on the GPU that goes bad due to the heat, so I am going to buy a repair kit on ebay, think they are about £2.50 and hopefully that should sort it.
  10. The wood style is not to my choice, but its your car do what you think will look best.
  11. We need the pics, what's happening to your yellow one then?
  12. Hope the week goes well, looks like you've made a good start.
  13. All those pipes look a bit complicated
  14. I have tried both rca and scart and its the same with both the old and new cables. I am still learning about xboxes, I always said I would never buy one as a devote Sony fan, but when I got offered one for free I could'nt resist getting it and seeing if I could fix it. If I get it going it will keep the kids off my PS3. Its not been chipped, but it is a few years old will be out of warranty by now.
  15. Yes it has sound, my brother gave me all the brand new cables etc from his new one so it is the actual box, from what I have read so far it looks like they overheat and I presume the joints go bad inside.
  16. Nice work, it will be interesting to see how it drives.
  17. Congratulations, I have been waiting to see a video of this on the road.
  18. My brother has just given me his old XBOX 360 as it went wrong and he just brought a new one. Not having as much money as him I want to try and fix it myself so was after some advice. The problem is that you get no picture when you turn it on, but no RROD. Has anybody got any links to a good site or help for me. I have googled it and there are loads of sites so just after some advice on which is a good site if someone has fixed theres?
  19. That looks fun, it slowed a bit at the top
