We have wood floors downstairs and with two dogs I would not recommend carpet, the amount of mud and other rubbish they bring into the house from the garden is amazing, especially in the winter. If we had carpet it would be a right state, but with the wood we just mop over it and its gone. If I did not have the dogs I would go with carpet.

Mine did not just unscrew, I had to hack the plastic off it then get some grips on the alloy lump that was left so I could then unscrew it.

Not mine, I scrapped my shell a few months ago, will be on the look out for a new swb shell in the next couple of months to put my TT engine etc into.

I did a similar thing about 10 years ago, my ex was running the pub she worked at for the day, I was helping bottle up at the end of the day and found a red button under the bar, had to press it and the alarm went off for ages.

I was considering buying a disco a couple of years ago, glad I did'nt now. I followed a new shape X5 yesterday and really liked the look of it, not so keen on the X6.
