one for the autoelectricians amongst us
Try one off a 24 v commercial vehicle? Off a bin lorry or crane / HIAB. I could have acquired one for you up until last week too.

New Toyota....
:nono:That looks proper hideous. The flares over the arches are reminiscent of the FTO, front grille from and Evo, and back end from a Civic that's been cross bred with a Mazda. And don't even start me on those tacky LED running lights!

battery losing charge
Is it a maintenance free battery? If not, check the levels and top up with distilled water if required.

Removing goo/mastic from lamps
Would it come off easier if you stuck it in the freezer to harden it, then chip or break it off? Just a thought.

got done over with engine build
Sorry to hear about you getting done over. I know the feeling having got screwed buying parts from an ex trader, Paul-someone-or-other. But we live and learn. If anybody is buying anything from anywhere (not just on here), it is well worth the money and time doing a bit of research, for example, if "ztech" was to be ran through the search box, there are plenty of threads, most with a horror story attached. Similarly "MJP" , "Jeff", "zedworld" and "jimmer" loads of positive hits. Most endorsements will be by consensus, and decent traders will get a good reputation that sticks. Well done for naming and shaming. I know the club as an entity needs to be cautious about what gets said, but its good to see info getting out to help stop others getting stung. Have you been on to trading standards out of interest? I would.

So russian dating site then?
Yup. Before anyone starts, yes I am Scottish, and used to be proud to be British. I support the Union, and all that it stands for. BUT sometimes when I am in the touristy places, especially Eindhoven, I try not to make it obvious I am a Brit. The Easyjet weekend "party places" are sick of Brits Abroad behaving badly. There is a huge drinking culture in Bavaria, all over Europe. It's just under control. It's not unusual to go out around 9 and still be in a club at 6 in the morning. And you never see any trouble.

So russian dating site then?
The Romanian pics are from a public beach, its not selective photography. The pictures of the beer hall are just Oktoberfest pictures; Starts in 10 weeks for anyone who is mad enough to go. It is seriously a fair representation of the two areas. Your chances of pulling on a long weekend are V++ high.

So russian dating site then?
Having thought about it, I made an ar5e of that - I'll bet nobody will even bother to check out the link, so let me post a few examples.....

So russian dating site then?
I dunno about the other lads, but for me, it's deadly serious. When I was back in the UK, sure, there were some lovely girls, but most had an opinion of themselves that was way out of line. There is nowhere near the ratio of stunners to mingers in the UK as there is over here. The thing is in the UK, a stunner knows she is, and there is a fair chance she is going to be a bit of a biatch. Over here, its fairly difficult to spot a proper minger. I still watch British TV, and if all the fake tan, bleach blonde, over done make up is as rampant as it looks, then no thanks. You see a bunch of girls on a night out, and they all look the same - what's that all about? Also the lets get drunk, puke up, cry, fall over attitude seen on all those CCTV shows just doesn't happen here. It's not exactly attractive now is it? I know us blokes ain't exactly perfect, but you can deffo keep a huge percentage of UK women. Another reason to stay away in my book.....

I might be a bit biased, having lived here for 8 years, but German women are generally quit fit, and stay that way until they are older too.. Bavaria - it's Europe's best kept kept secret, a quick image search for dirndls munich beer festival says it all. However, I can't recommend the delights of Romania enough......

You will want to keep the miles you put on as low as possible. Then they will have less of a chance of blaming you.

Haye fight
I have tried to watch it twice. I like both Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg, but I got very bored very quickly. I fell asleep both times before the end.

Yet another colour thread! (Pics)
Thanks everyone for their input. Got a sample of a blue, similar to the BSB, the Audi colour, and the Porsche colour. I do like the Lambo orande, it's the same as my bike, and I like the gold too. I'll decide once I run a test spray of each. Cheers again everyone.

Yet another colour thread! (Pics)
Nah, just the roof, not a fan of doing the bonnet different from the wings. That's cool on an aggressive looking, body-kitted motor with big power. Apart from the paint, I plan to keep this one standard. No targas, it's a SWB / slicktop, and Im going nekkid on the back - no spoiler. I think I'm gonna pick up 1/2 liter of that blue, and the other colurs above, and see how they look on the motor.

Yet another colour thread! (Pics)
I meant that everybody seems to like it. It is nice, not if it would fit with the black roof though. I have already done that and the engine bay, and quite like it, so determined to keep it. I'm off to the suppliers tomorrow for other stuff, so might ask him to mix me up a wee bit to test. Cheers.

Yeah, plenty nice. Not seen yours, but I think it was Yowser (Legrath) used to have a nice slickie in that colour. I was going to follow his lead and remove and fill the roof trim, but if I remember right, there was problems with cracks after a few years? That colour definitely seems to have a huge fan base on here, and I do like it. I was considering the Dodge Viper Blue for a while.

Yet another colour thread! (Pics)
Was there a thread about it? I saw one, might not have been yours, and that confirmed to me at the time that it was what I wanted to do, I thought it looked ace. There was another two tone, I think it belonged to StellaZ, also looked good. Fair point about the numbers, there is only 2 more in my area, one is white and the other is black. There are dozens of two tone black / white motors around here, it is a German fetish to take a banger and throw on a crappy paint job on very boring cars to make them "exciting". None are Zeds, but there are enough to make the colour scheme very non-original now.. It's not that I don't like the colours, it's just everywhere at the moment. Same as the Muppets with the up & over racing stripes. I just don't want to look like I am following the herd.

Oi! I like poo brown! :tt2: But seriously, I need suggestions...... I want to keep with the two tone thing, need ideas. Was also thinking Audi Saddle Brown... Or Porsche Macadamia...
