Router help
You shouldn't have to... Or I've never had to at least. 192.168.0.1 should open up the logon screen and the default is admin and password I think.

What is the connection status? Mine kept saying LCP is allowed to come up or LCP is down but I knew the settings were correct and bt claimed there was no problems on the line... a firmware update fixed it in the end...

What do you really hate?
You shouldn't listen to gossip - he will pay flat rate tax, in addition to various other benefits (including no vat I think), not zero... he actually pays tax at the same percentage as you do, and only avoids the extortionate brackets on the mainland! And anyone who says they wouldn't do the same is either mad or a liar!!

Anyone read Japanese?
If you search back through the now departed funkysi's posts, there's contact details for a shipping agent in japan - for a small fee, he has items delivered to him, then re-mails them outside Japan... may be worth a try? He usually does alloys, but will do other items too.

Experience of selling a private number plate
If it's a really good plate, they may buy it off you - otherwise you're best sticking it on retention and asking them to advertise it... problem is it's £100-odd/ year to keep on retention so may not be worth bothering if it's a cheapy.

help finding info on someone
Just realised that my subscription's expired, but I've got a number for a good enquiries agency - recommended by a retired solicitor a few weeks ago who used to use them... http://www.intecea.co.uk based in Mold. Fortunately, I never ended up using them, so can't vouch, but I trust the recommendation. Rich

The problem is locking the gear - Tiptronic will automatically change up when you redline it, I thought autos were ok if you could lock it in gear though...?

Car Stalled after burnouts
You've never heard of a delaminated tyre?? Happens all the time on trucks - and more often than it should on trackdays too. All those pieces of truck tyre on the motorway are the result of delamination...

Problem with SKY TV
Can't you borrow a box off someone to be sure it's your box? LNB is a piece of piss to swap if that's the problem... If you're not bothered about sky+ etc, there must be thousands of old boxes knocking around - although sky installers always try to take them! I reckon someone on here will have their old box for a few quid - I'd let you have mine but I've set it up running freesat. Rich
