  1. Your in luck, doing the very same job in the morning so will take some photos and post them up for you. Jeff TT
  2. Ok, as all of the brake pipes go from the master cylinder to the ABS system first then bleed the two nipple at the abs unit first. Then the front calipers than the rear calipers, do not worry to much about corner priority in our experience it has little effect. Jeff TT
  3. Phill, The rear screen seal started as a soft plastic U section that over the years starts to shrink and hence the corners turn up, once this happens it had it. Due to the U shape it is fitted over the glass first than the whole unit bonded in to the tailgate, this means two things, removal without cutting / breaking is near impossible and more important refitting is also near impossible due to the bonding material under the glass. We use a universal soft rubber that is easy to fit and actually looks nicer than the original in my opinion, this come in rolls so can be cut to length, it molds in to the coners at the bottom of the screen real nice too, from memory is about £15.00 Any windscreen co should be able to supply it, if not give us a call. Jeff TT
  4. The solenoids are part of a "pack" that is located within the gearbox itself and to access these the sump and strainer needs removing. Jeff TT
  5. The wheel actuators are located on each hub assembly, the main ABS valve unit for both front an rear is located in the boot on the right hand side under the pastic housing. Jeff TT
  6. Assuming the switch has not gone faulty it will be the timer unit located in the drivers side footwell behind the panel where the bonnet catch is. The unit serves as a timer relay operation for many things and the internet wipers is part of it, sound like its feeding the wipers constantly, a good used timer module will not be expensive Jeff TT
  7. Oh no!! next someone will be discussing facebook and bebo ........ get me out of here!!! Jeff TT
  8. This is why I for one will not twitter Jeff TT
  9. Mmm... don`t want to say "told you so" but I did! Good news that your feeling ok about it now, I had no doubt myself and clearly as I said when we spoke the ConZult balance system is seriously flawed if any of the readings or results are incorrectly interperated as yours was. Additional testing is a must BEFORE any conclusion can be made, a noid light and coil pack KV sensor would have showed the issue in minutes without even a compression test. Lessons learnt by all involved, real glad it worked out for you....top man:nana2: Jeff TT
  10. Cool, sounds ok in that case then :D Jeff TT
  11. The picture on the web site looks like a portacabin shop full of Vauxhall Nova parts. Jeff TT

That includes a brand new 25% uprated clutch and EITHER a new balanced single piece propshaft or brand new support bearing (option) Jeff TT
  18. Hi Damo, Understanding the function of the hicas light and what the issues the system can suffer from is important so as to make the correct diagnosis. So the hicas light has two functions 1) Low fluid level warning This can activate when level is just on the mark when cold and then go out when fluid has expanded a bit, this in not indicating a hicas fault and the steering or hicas will not be effected. 2) Sensor failure The hicas system rarely fails in its own right however the system relies on inputs from other sensors like the steering wheel, the speed sensor and to a lesser degree the throttle and abs. Usually when one of these signals fails the hicas ecu will default the hicas system to off and the light on the dash will come on, this will stay on till the ignition is cut and restarted. In this case the normal steering will not be effected just the hicas disabled. As your steering is effected the hicas light coming on is only a symptom of the problem and not directly the cause. The most likely is the speed signal is been lost due to a faulty sensor, speedo, delimiter or broken cable not the hicas system Determining which one is by a process elimination and testing. Hope that clears it a bit for you. On another note: How is the car handling now after the shock absorber change...better I would bet:dance: Jeff TT

  20. E24 is one of the connectors located on the drivers side inner wing just forward of the suspension turret E107 is the connector for the autobox ecu located in the passenger foot well. Jeff TT
  21. Sorry guys, my bit of humour:rofl: Jeff TT
  22. All zeds have this plug and is a little known or used interface platform that Nissan installed with a view to use as reverse compatibility with later technology that they were developing at the time of manufacture in a way it was to be used to future proof the zeds connectivity with performance hardware. This is the port that the race guys in US have used with the Nissan Motorsport FBS system, 500+ bhp with a totally standard engine, shame the kit required is no longer available, if some electronic wizz kids could copy one of the few still in existance they could open up a world of power for us all. Jeff TT
  23. Hang fire and will get you all the colours. Jeff TT
  24. Ok lets follow the diagram to help you sort out why you have the problem you have and how best to deal with it Relays A,B,C all take their coil or swithing 12v+ from the same source as the injectors as noted by D Now as your saying you have spark that proves that line is powered up, however as you do not have power to the injectors then that would suggest a cable fault at position D As mentioned by others rather than searching for a break in a cable some, wire in a new supply to the injectors making sure you use a fuse in the circuit. The neg triggers from the ecu do not take kindly to shorts or cross polarity so be careful when connecting up. Jeff TT
