No boost.
If you have a genuine no boost issue but the engine running ok then it points to a seized turbo, a leak that large would cause the engine to run rough, you can easily test out if a turbo is spinning or not by removing a throttle pipe one at a time and start the engine and rev it up and feel for boost, a latex glove slipped over the pipe from the intercooler makes it easier it will either blow up or suck in. The one you cannot feel anything will be not spinning and all of the boost from the other working turbo is lost down the seized turbo. Jeff TT

ignition timing
Tnis is what you need for the timing light, plug gaps should be set and no need to alter them on standard zeds. link here I did some time ago on how to use it http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?152683-Timing-light-tech-help&highlight=timing+light Jeff TT

No power require, the auto lever that is normally released by applying the foot brake can be released by pressing the red button in front of the lever base. Jeff TT- Erm not sure what Nissan was thinking here

Hiya Jim We have been given this Insurance Company details, R H Specialist : Brentwood 01277 206911. Several of our customers have used them, I think they are pretty reasonable on the prices. Hope the family are all okay. Regards Lynda Zedworld.- Replacing front crankshaft seal
I have covered this subject a few times (links below) the lower crank seal could be an issue but more likely higher up, a strip out is required to determine where the issue is, take a look at some of the pics to see if your confident, if not as Mark said get it booked in. Our daughter lives in Paralimni just east of Famagusta, and when visiting we always head for the Trudos mountains, watched the World rally through go there once, the scenery is superb, my advise is to stay clear of Northern Cyprus in fact if your hiring any form of vehicle there will be insurance restrictions on crossing the border, super hot there at the moment according to the daughter. Jeff TT- US spec front corner lenses?
Yes already gone, will check the tracking tomorrow and update you, really should of been with you by now ? Jeff TT- Hi
Well said Richard, saved me typing that lot out !(phew) To echo what Richard has said do not write the engine off yet, you may be lucky enough to have caught it early, I would check the small pipes above the pump first as these can be changed quite easily and not at a massive cost, fill it back up get all of the air out and give it another go...be brave! Jeff TT- Electrical short?
Do not worry about the clicking sound, there is nothing you could of damaged whilst resetting the tps, the sound is most likely solenoids and or relays that were responding to the very low tps reading you moved it to. The high tickover sound like you have lost the hard idle switch closed notification, with the ignition on unplug the large grey connector to the tps and wait about 30 seconds while it resets itself. If the idle is still high it may be you have disturbed something else which is a common occurance when getting close to a zed engine!! such as a pipe, this may be why the boost seems a little more laggy, also try to tap (hard) the cold run section of the idle control valve to see if it drops the revs, this is the parts the S shaped rubber pipe goes to of the rear of the balancer bar and can get stuck sometimes. Jeff TT- Sealing sensors
As the sensors need to be earthed through their threads using any sealant may cause them to not function, they have tapered threads so they seal anyway, and the fuel temp sensor is fitted to a closed section so nothing to leak out anyhow. Jeff TT - Auto - do I need power to move?
