Xmas meet
Could do Craig - I guess I could meet you on the M40 (Oxford services??) as I would join at Handy Cross........ I think that may just have sealed the deal Jeff:dance: Even Julia sounds enthusiastic so it would be 2 of us (and the Z of course;)) Richard:smw:

Top 10 fastest cars under 5k
I'm surprised the T5 didn't make it onto the list - you're certainly right there Tony...... Me too Alan - it's a superb car; I nearly bought one some years back but I chose a 300zx instead. I did think about getting one as a weekend toy in the summer......... .......but I bought another 300zx and sold the red one! Richard;)

Xmas meet
That sounds a great idea Jeff:bow:; just what the club needs!! I'll check my calendar (read "Julia") and hopefully I can make it also - it's only an hour or so away after all so I'm a "maybe"........ It'll be good to put a few names to faces too...... Richard:cool:

pic slagging my car.
Looking superb there Damo:bow: You've got a nice tidy Z and those wheels really finish it off. As BGV says; just a set of 99-spec rears and that'll really finish it off just right! ATB Richard:)

Top Gear Live show
Some nice pics there Daz. Looks like you had better seats than we did for TG live; I was a fair bit further back.... ....it was indeed a great show...:hyper: I must get some of my pic up - and just for Isaac I have some of the ladies posing next to the cars:p Richard:cool:

speed camera spray
Most likely you're right Si - I woudn't bother TBH..... So that's why some idiots do it...... ......and I thought is was some poor Max Power type fashion statement:rolleyes: Richard:nelson:

Private plate help?
Yes...... ......and no! It depende on when the MOT expired. If it is comparitively recently you MAY (or may not; at DVLA's discretion) still be able to put the plate on retention. Although I cannot for the life of me remember how long you get. I do know that you can still retain a plate for up to 6 months after the tax dics has expired. Richard:cool:

Tough Choice
Good luck with your new job mate - I'd say you've made the right decision..... Richard:)

MPH/Top Gear Live.....
Hi Daz, No mate - taking the SLK! My Z is still nice and clean so it's staying in my garage as it's tipping down here at the mo! I'm just on my way out - new phone has a 5m pixel camera so that will suffice methinks!! Pics will be posted later...... Richard:)

ebay's feedback system now even more useless!
Here here! Wise words Brian:bow:

MPH/Top Gear Live.....
Anyone been or going this year? I'm off to the NEC tomorrow; classic car show first, then into MPH around midday finishing with the TG Live show at 3!! Can't wait - and it beats work!!:hyper: Richard:)

ebay's feedback system now even more useless!
I think people just cannot be bothered anymore.... .....what gets me most is if you're the buyer and you make payment immediately; you have fulfilled your part of the transaction. Yet in virtually all cases the seller will only leave you feedback once you have left it for them first:xxx: IMO each party to the transaction should leave their feedback once the other person has done what they are supposed to. So seller should leave FB unpon receipt of money; and buyer on receipt of goods. Simples! None of this "I'll leave FB for you once you have done it for me" nonsense. I reckon the ebay community are now, in the main, a bunch of small minded ignorant pikeys:tongue: Richard:headvswal

Sponsor ship deals.
Apology accepted Craig. If you've not done so already I'd suggest a thread in the "for sale" section for your bits. I think it's best if I close this thread now as enough opinions have been heard! Richard
-
Who you insurered with? covered all mods etc
Lynbrooks - classic policy, garaged; few subtle mods declared, limited miles, age 39........ ....just renewed for £206. Carole Nash wanted £259 for the same policy! Richard:)

Happy Birthday ZX -EYES
A little prezzie from me mate..... Richard:cool:

Flock of seagulls?
And there's me thinking of that 1980s pop group.......:x:

Sponsor ship deals.
I'm afraid I have to agree with the above; wholeheartedly:( The whole forum showed its support only to be told "nobody cares" Well forgive me if I (also) stop caring. Richard
