Yup - I'd have to agree with that as well...... .....and I assume that there comes a point where there will be very little improvement in the 0-60 time anyway; but the increased power and torque may improve on the mid-range acceleration. So in theory 100 would be reached quicker..... Please correct me if I'm wrong......:whistling: Richard:cool3:

I remember parking outside a small parade of shops in my red ZX, behind a Micra. My suggestion - boring as it is - is to keep them the standard colour. Perhaps add a polished rim fir a contrast.... Richard:wink:

I could well believe that.... .....the 3.0 would be a lot less stressed in pulling a heavy-ish car along; so no need to boot it as hard to get the same performance. A bit like the old Ford Granada Scorpios in the early 1990s; it was pointless buying the 2.0dohc to save fuel when compared to the 2.9i as you had to thrash the 2.0 to make it move!! Damn thing ended up drinking as much fuel as the 2.9 - which was faster and smoother!! Richard:lol:

Strange but true mate!! the OEM platinum plugs seem to have been proven as the best choice for a 300zx.... ....even if you try NGK iridiums, the platinum ones still just appear to have the edge. Richard:chef:

That's what I'd do as well...... ....because I agree with that. I have a newer and faster German sports car for daily use; yet despite everything it has and does, I have a passion for the ZX that just hits me each time I drive it. The look, the smell and the sheer ungoverned fun that two turbos; RWD and no electronic gadgets to hinder progress can provide.... ....Good man - a wise choice my friend... Richard:thumbup1:
