  6. Cool......:tt1: .......I'd hoped you'd need no encouragement to post a pic or two Allan:tt2: Richard:devil:
  7. Couldn't agree more! I have a 200 mile round trip to Zedworld but it's always worth it! Richard:cool2:
  8. That is nothing to worry about - the date on the seat belt tag is the date of manufacture; not registration. Plenty of UK spec cars sat around dealerships for months before they were bought and/or registered. So it's not uncommon for a UK car to be registered a year or so after it was made! Richard:cool3:
  9. LOL - you know I might have guessed you'd say that Allan.......:tt2: Love the new sig BTW mate!! Richard:chef:
  10. Glad you're having a great time Dave! See you online when you get back mate - enjoy the next week too!! Richard:chef:
  11. Welcome to the club and congrats on your new purchase! Richard:thumbup:
  12. Just like Andy says..... .....anyone could have bought it here and shipped it out of the country before it was registered! PhilP has a ZX previously owned by the Sultan of Brunei - that is a UK spec (although it may have been registered here originally) which was shipped over to Brunei and spent its life there until sold; when it was brought back and re-registered in the UK. Other small touches to confirm its origin might include the UK clocks (although many imports have them retro-fitted now) and the washer button on the head light switch. Also UK & Euro spec cars have the full 17 digit chassis number; J-spec cars VIN numbers are much shorter! Richard:cool2:
  13. Tyre prices have gone up - owing to to the cost of oil apparently.... Richard:no:
  14. Welcome back to the club! And get some pics up of yoru new car.......:tt2: Richard:chef:
  15. Very true mate! Dewi, I'd add this above "point 1" on your list..... ATB Richard:chef:
  16. Hmmmmm - I wonder; LOL I'd kill the little b'stard when he got home:blink: Richard:biggrin:
  17. Good news on the insurance Allan! Richard:rockon:
  18. LOL - and that's Funki Si on the far left.....:laugh::no: Richard:euro:
  19. Happy birthday Dan!! Richard:cool3:
  20. Many happy returns mate! Richard:batman:
  21. Happy birthday mate! Richard:cool3:
  22. If it were a stock Type-R there would be no question; ZX all the way.... .....but a 240bhp one, who knows? But they are FWD and I reckon it would struggle to put down the power, not to mention torque steer, so even with the weight advantage it's a tough call. As Hellraiser suggests, after 80 or so then the superior power and torque of a 300zx would probably give it the advantage. Richard:winkiss:
  23. That's what I thought Dewi; you must say so in future.....:innocent:
  24. Hi Baz - yes, completely stock! And to piss me off even more..... .....I went inside after 2 attempts (and it had started to rain BTW) only to find the whole village was suffering from a blasted power cut:thumbdown: So I had to cook (gas - fortunately) by candlelight. It's come back on now though - otherwise I wouldn't be here 'coz the router would not work LOL:tt2: I reckon I'll just pop into the garage again tomorrow and ask them to swap the spare over, then do the free re-test! Richard:pinch:
  25. Not on a public road, though of course mate.....:no:
