  1. Please do - and I see you're not too far from me either mate! Henley is around 1/2 hour down the road..... Richard:yes:
  2. Congrats on the new arrival Jay!! I guess you do have other priorities than getting back into the ZX scene at the mo..... ....and I'm well too thanks mate. You take care and don't be a stranger on the forum either!!! Richard:sorcerer:
  3. Not in the UK, I don't think Mikey. In the USA there was a recall to update the PTU, but the 300zx didn't sell in enough numbers over here to warrant a recall. So as usual, us poor Brits had to pay for a new PTU when the S1 item failed outside the warranty period. Which as we know, they all do/did..... Richard:hammer:
  4. Welcome to the club Ed! Richard:cool2:
  5. Great news Andy - and good luck in your new job! Richard:sorcerer:
  6. It's looking great mate!! Once again - good luck to the girls.... Richard:sorcerer:
  7. Many happy returns Steve! Richard:happybday:
  8. Oops - we've all done something like that once in our lives I'll wager...... Richard:helpsmilie:
  9. Looking good Dan! Richard:winkiss:
  10. LOL - and we have our fair share on here......:sweatdrop::no::lol: Richard:laugh:
  11. That is great news Steve; I look forward to seeing the final results mate!! Richard:sorcerer:
  12. Hi Jay, good to see you're still around mate! Hope you're well, Richard:sorcerer:
  13. And who can forget that memorable quote from The Simpsons...."Mr Wembly, it happened again...." Just about sums it up......:winkiss:
  14. Just brilliant Bri...... What also gets me is that the daft fookers STILL try and sell you the 5 year cover on an item of technolgy that will at best be obsolete in 6 months; and at worst if it breaks in 2 years time, the replacement cost is less what the 5 year insurance costs in the first place!!! I had a similar experience buying a Dyson for work from Currys in the spring - this thing cost about £175 and the spotty pleb tried to sell me the 5 year cover "for only £180" - I said "no thanks; if it does die in 3 years time I'll just buy a new one and chuck this one in the skip. So if it dies I'm still £5 better off, if not I'm £180 better off!!!" You could actually see he cogs slowly turning as he tried to take on board what I said.......:w00t: Richard:wacko:
  15. If you want more white than blue, then go for 4300k or thereabouts. That's suuposedly what stock lights are in current BMWs or Mercs.... ....although I have 4300k in my ZX and the lights in my SLK do look more blue than the Z! But the HIDs in the ZX look way more white than the Osram Nightbreaker bulbs in my full beam. Richard:cool3:
  16. My thoughts to mate! Richard:thumbup1:
  17. Before mate - coming over this Saturday..... Richard:yes:
  18. Just a thought Dave - does your insurance policy provide cover for lost keys? Some do, but it might affect your NCB if you claim.... Good luck with getting it sorted, Richard:thumbup1:
  19. That's great news Graham - I assume you came over to the mainland then as you'd never do 40 miles let along 400 on the Island..... .....I'm over there myself next week mate...! Richard:cool3:
  20. Welcome to the club! And that's tidy UK spec Mister-2 you have there.... Richard:chef:
  21. Great to hear that Andy. Sometimes I have gone as much as a month without driving mine, but then once I take it out I realize how much I love the ZX after the first 5 minutes..... I think it's about £1600 all in..... Richard:thumbup1:
  22. That is a tidy car judging by the pics - and I agree, at £3k it looks a bargain for a manual TT shortie:ohmy: Richard:cool2:
  23. Very true words there Gary. To me it shows they still have the club's interests at heart and still hold a torch for the 300zx...... ......And not being one to exploit an opportunity, there is a very wrong misconception among a small minority that this club is run by people who do not actually own a 300zx. Well by my last count, only 2 out of 7 committee members do not own a 300zx (Znut having sold his); followed by 2 out of 8 moderators who don't either (both Stella and Daves_Zed having sold theirs). So there you have it - the majority of us do actually own a 300zx (some currently own 2:tt2:). And for those who do not, such is their passion for the 300zx that one or two may yet return to the fold of ZX ownership. But I'm saying no more about that....... So to the misinformed minority out there, get your facts right before peddling nonsence. You know who you are........ Richard:cool2:
  24. Happy birthday fella - have a great day!! Richard:cowboy:
  25. Welcome to the club Paddy! I like your taste in cars - although I do prefer your black ZX.... Richard:sorcerer:
