  1. Yeah - a Honda Prelude FFS......!!! Richard:thumbdown::oops:
  2. I do like the R8 - and that is indeed intersting about your performance comparison Dave. Kind of backs up Voddy's claim too; so it seems "those that laughed were daft!!" Might have been different in the V10 though..... Richard:innocent:
  3. LOL - dead right mate!! I never drive my ZX to work (classic insurance does not permit commuting); but on the odd days when it's been booked in at the garage/tyre replacement etc, it has made it to my office car park..... .....and a colleague said exactly the same thing! I have removed all Nissan badging and added a J-spec nose panel so when he saw the Z badge, he asked if it was a Zonda!! The look on his face when I said it was actually a Nissan was priceless!! Richard:lol:
  4. Good luck with the appeal Mark... .....and all the best to little Milly Richard:sad:
  5. FJ has certainly come up with the goods for a lot of us this year - and that's great news...... ....if only I had waited another day I'd have got mine for £50 less from FJ; but I was getting anxious as my ZX insurance has expired by a day and I didn't want to risk the garage falling down on it; LOL. There's always next year I suppose!! Richard:oops:
  6. Post now removed from PH..... What's it all about mate? Richard:tongue_smilie:
  7. You're all right - they are just air vents..... .....but they are there to enable fresh air-flow through the whole cabin. As you know, fresh air comes into the cabin through the dash vents - even with the blowers off the forward motion of the car helps draw it in. In many old cars, it was normal to see the air exit vents in the C-pillars (eg Cortina/Mk1 or 2 Cavalier etc)....... .....but as cars have become more streamlined and (well) modern, it has become normal to conceal the exit vents in the rear wings under the bumpers... Richard:cool3:
  8. Great pics there Ian - and from your ZX I reckon I like it miles better with the spoiler than without. LWB ZXs always look better with a spoiler IMO; and I reckon only the original 1990 or the 99-spec types are the ones to have! Richard:cool2:
  9. Wow - a very rare find there Jeff...... ....I didn't know that was even an option in the UK; rather just the USA market!! Just goes to show - live and learn!! Richard:cool3:
  10. That looks a great idea - I have some scratches on my driver's door window and that wouls certainly improve things...... .....I must give that a try; £25 is most probably easier than replcing the window! Thanks for the link mate!! Richard:chef:
  11. Hi Marty, I could be wrong here, but I think that only J-spec glass is bronze. I thought that UK spec was blue with a darker blue top tint...... (or something like that). Mine is UK spec and I'm pretty sure the glass is not bronze at all. Richard:oops:
  12. Here you go.... ....my old red ZX on 17s and my current blue one on 18s.... Richard
  13. Hello everyone, I understand that there are a few new members out rhere waiting for their membership packs..... Unfortunately Chris (ck300z) is having some computer problems at the moment, hence is having some trouble getting online regularly. Please accept my apologies on behalf of the committee - hopefully one new hard disc later and Chris will be back to deal with the issue very soon. Please do feel free to PM me (or email on richardsmith@300zx.co.uk) if you have any problems in the mean time; I will endeavour to help! Thank you for your patience, Richard
  14. Happy birthday Stuart.... ......have a great day mate!! Richard
  15. Many happy returns matey!! Richard:thumbup1:
  16. Nice one Allan!! I am pleased all is well with you, Shell and little Charlie!! Richard:clap::thumbup:
  17. I'd say any one really - they are all as good at doing the job as each other...... .....since they are only a deterrant; if someone really wants to nick your wheels they will so don't waste money on super expensive nuts!! Richard:santa:
  18. Lovely white Z31 mate!! I liked those ever since seeing Bruce Willis drive one in the movie "Blind Date" way back in the 1980s...... I'm sure that someone over on the Zclub will be able to advise you better on the problem too; good luck buddy!! Richard:cool2:
  19. Come on guys - now you're sounding like Prius drivers talking about the stupid "economy" indicator that glows green if you're good and red if your bad with the throttle (or what ever stupid girly crock of a car that has it - LOL)...... .....In contrast, my 3.5 litre daily driver has an average speed indicator - and funnily enough when I have that displayed on the dash, I seem to get to my destination a whole lot quicker. It still manages much better fuel economy than the ZX though; not that it's relevant on a 300bhp+ V6.... Richard:tongue_smilie:
  20. Priceless........ .....and for everything else there's Mastercard.... Richard:hang:
  21. Happy birthday Steve, Hope all's well with you mate!! Richard:yes:
  22. Welcome to the club my friend..... .....and that is a great idea....!! Richard:yes:
  23. Sounds good news mate -and you can get some more pics up then!! Richard:clap:
  24. What - your old avatar mate....? Love the new one Allan; you look the proud dad for sure...!! Richard:winkiss:
  25. Happy birthday mate! Richard:happybday:
