  1. Great news Ryan - that car sounds like a fantastic buy mate!! Good luck with it; and the grin will never leave you. I sometimes don't drive mine for 3-4 weeks and in that time I forget just how good these cars are. But within a couple of seconds after taking it out of the garage, it all comes flooding back..... I look forward to seeing some more pics too!! Richard:thumbup1:
  2. Happy birthday John - have a great day mate! Richard:thumbup1:
  3. A belated happy birthday mate! Richard:blush:
  4. Many happy returns mate! Richard:thumbup1:
  5. Don't know mate - but there's a lot of it about it would seem..... Richard:no:
  6. Happy birthday mate - have a great day!! Richard:thumbup1:
  7. Welcome to the club Paul - and good luck with your impending purchase!! Richard:thumbup1:
  8. I'd go along with those suggestions as well - since anything sub-£3k, under 10 years old and turbocharged is going to be a chav-mobile. But following on from Dean's suggestion of going older, the obvious has been overlooked....... You can buy a reasonable 300zx for that money!! Although I don't necessarily agree that the Golf is borderline chav. Sure you do get the chav drivers (like you will with any car), but a Golf GTi still has that timeless and classless appeal that makes it look at home on both the council estate or the country estate..... That's why the Golf maintains it's reasonably high residuals in comparison to other cars in its class!! Richard:thumbup1:
  9. Not as bad as you mate!! But the rain was relentless all weekend nonetheless - as soon as the b@stards announce a hosepipe ban it has rained every day since. I did notice lots of fallen trees and branches on/near the roads this morning though; but like you we also have a lovely sunny spring evening here!! We've just walked home from the pub and it feels like early summer outside right now..... Unbelieveable!! Richard:surrender:
  10. LOL - so true.....!!
  11. Welcome to the club Ryan - and good luck in your search for a 300zx! As for the "warming up of the engine" don't do it mate!! Modern cars don't need it - you're better off getting in and driving off right away, letting the engine warm up whilst moving. And the 300zx is no exception to this! Richard:cool3:
  12. Looks like you had a great time though Allan...... .....and that's twice you have left Sunderland in one year, that I am aware of!!! Richard:tt2::lol:
  13. Good luck Sam, I hope everything works out for you mate. Richard:mellow:
  14. Many happy returns mate - have a great day!! Richard:happybday:
  15. Another happy Zedworld customer...... ......Jeff and Jamie are 300zx wizards for sure. No matter how good my ZX usually runs (and it is good:tt2:), it just seems better after they have worked their magic on it!!! Richard:sorcerer:
  16. I have my ticket and stand pass - it arrived earlier this week thanks!! Only 2 weeks to go so I look forward to seeing you all there...... Richard:thumbup:
  17. Great news Baz - and that looks a tidy UK spec car mate! I do love a nice white ZX.... Congrats on the sale too!! Richard:thumbup1:
  18. Good luck JAffa..... ....and I do like that rear diffuser mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  19. Another one? Good for you too Baz!!! Richard:punk:
  20. Great pics Allan - you should definitely be proud of him mate!! LOL - he is sure shaping up that way; and that can't be bad.... Richard:thumbup:
  21. Nice one Lee!!! Always good to see another ZX living on with no issues..... Richard:thumbup1:
  22. Yes they are mate!! My journey home from work takes me over the type of wretched speed humps where the road narrows to one lane for either direction - consequently one side has to "give way." I have lost count of the number of bus drivers ignoring the give way sign and driven at me, expecting me to stop, even though I have right of way. Only a couple of weeks ago (when I was not in the best mood) did this happen - but I decided to stop in the middle of the road instead of backing off. The bus driver honked, gestured, shouted, but I wasn't going to back down...... .....instead I got out of my car and dared him to come any further - I even (unlike me) said something like hit my car and you'll be the one who's sorry. But common sense prevailed - I took out my phone and took photos of the situation (including his numberplate) then the next day reported it to the manager of his depot (next door to my office in fact!!). And I still didn't move - I made the bus reverse back away from the speed hump and continued on my way. But I fear it's not just busses - the standard of driving in the UK has gotten progressively worse in recent years; it's nearly as bad as the bad drivers' attitudes!!! Richard:sad:
  23. Cheers Rich..... .....and tell me mate, with your obvious metal working skills, have you thought of making the show display signs like Gaz has...? Richard:wink:
  24. Happy birthday mate!! Richard:happybday:
  25. Many happy returns mate - and good to see you're still around!! Richard:happybday:
