In car multi cd changers where have they gone?
That's what I did - I have this in my 300zx http://www.finsburycaraudio.co.uk/index.php/cd-mp3/kenwood-kdc-dab4551ump3-wma-aac-cd-usb-receiver-with-aux-input-and-dab-tuner-built-in.html complete with DAB-plus radio and the bluetooth hands free phone interface. Works bloody well too!! Another good idea; I have an SD card slot and full multi-media interface in the SLK so no need to have loads of CDs in the car!! I still have my old JVC 12 disc CD changer, removed from my Z when I fitted the new head unit (and still works fine) - free to a good home if anyone wants it..... Just cover postage!! Slick top
Agreed - you know you want to Daffy!! That car deserves a good home mate and you're definitely one person who can give it just that!! Plus at £1500 you can't afford NOT to buy it..... Richard:thumbup1:

Grey ZX in Stoke Mandeville this evening....
I saw a nice grey import 300zx on Lower Road in Stoke Mandeville around 5.30 this evening, heading into Aylesbury..... ......I was driving the other way in a silver SLK and flashed my headlights at you! Anyone on here? Richard:thumbup1:

Renewed
Hi Alan, I think that a bank transfer takes 3 days to arrive - and then we need Andy to check the account online before you can be activated..... ......but I'll flag it up so Andy can watch out for it mate. Thanks for your continued support and hopefully we'll have you active again in no time! Richard:thumbup1:

End of an era - sold the NSX today. 300zx needs to go next.
Good side by side comparison there Dave...... ......TBH I'm not sure which one I would chose. I have always loved the NSX, but would I buy one? Maybe; there are 2 on Auto Trader right now for £16k and £26k with reasonable miles on them..... .....and, whilst the GTR is not the prettiest car, it is still an awesome piece of kit - better than the R32, R33 and R34 by miles IMO - but would I buy one? Possibly - although I can think of other (albeit lesser capable) cars that I would still prefer to splash out the thick end of £50k on! Richard:rockon:

New rims and im up set (please read full story lol)
Front tyre size should be 235/40/18 to keep in line with the rear size you have - and to match the rim width as said above...... .....and economy tyres like "Sunny" are bad news on any high performance car mate; best change them for a decent, proven, brand as soon as possible. The 300zx has a habit of getting tail happy and it takes a good tyre to tame the beast and keep you safe and alive!!! Having two different style tension rods is not good news either; you need to get that looked at and changed - plus a proper 4 wheel allignment set up done to make sure all is well. The new wheels do look very nice though; I hope it can be easily be fixed! Richard:balloon:

End of an era - sold the NSX today. 300zx needs to go next.
Boomin said that "a" 2004 [nsx] sold on PH for £49k 2 weeks ago....... ....not that he got £49k for his car.....! I guess his answer means "none of our business"...LOL Richard:clover:

Nose job for the Z
Looks much better now mate - I'm not a fan of many aftermarket front bumpers as the OEM items (original and 1999 spec) suit the 300zx so much better IMO....! Richard:thumbup1:

Has your zed got a wiggly arse?
Could be the HICAS joints on their way out, as suggested, but it could also be down to the tyres you are running! But to answer your question - no, mine hasn't..... Richard:balloon:
-
Do low profile tires increase stopping distances?
The profile should not make any difference mate - the width might (in the wet maybe) and the tread pattern/compound will have an effect. But just going from stock sizes to bigger wheels with lower profiles itself should not effect brkaing distances..... Richard:tongue_smilie:

Hi guys from brum
