Hell, I best get my pics up soon...:blush: Good call on getting away at a reasonable hour too mate; there was trouble on the M40 after Oxford so whilst we made good time to there, the last 20 miles took ages and we didn't get home until 6.45. I should have left the M-way at Oxford and driven cross country - especially as once we got to the "incident" there was actually nothing happening to explain the damn tail-back!!! Never mind; it didn't spoil the day. Good venue, great company and some fantastic cars - not just on our own stand either!! Richard:rockon:

LOL - great minds mate..... I always carry a couple of micro-fibre cloths and some detailing spray in the boot of my cars!!! I have had some funny looks when I arrive at a hotel on holiday; then whip out the spray to clean the bugs from the front bumper....:lol: Julia just cringes with embarassment!!

Cheers Steve.... I had planned to wash the ZX today - but it wasn't actually all that dirty TBH; and after washing and waxing the Merc, I didn't have the energy!! So I just gave it a little wipe down with detailing spray, there's still a few spots of tree sap on it, but after an early morning run up the M40/M42/M6 it's going to be peppered with dead bugs anyway:lol: Richard:cool2:

Hi Danny, if you're thinking about doing it to your ZX, my advice is don't bother mate!! Use the money you'd spend on the conversion to buy yourself a more efficient daily driver (eg a Golf TDi or the like) and keep the ZX as a weekend classic. It should cost you less in the long term for sure mate; and there'll be no worries about the ZX having engine running issues. Richard:cool2:

Have to agree there...... .....during my issues with the electric fan not working properly (until Jeff fixed it a few weeks back) I was keeping an eye on the water level after getting stuck in traffic in high ambient temperatures. One hot day, after sitting in traffic coming out of London, I let it rest for an hour and opened the rad cap to check the coolant and it appeared there was none in there. But the expansion tank was reading much higher on the dipstick.... So I left it, and re-checked the radiator the next morning after and to my surprise, the radiator was full once more when I removed the cap on a cold engine. I could not understand how it was somehow "sucked" back in either - as I believed the rad cap to be just a one-way valve. It seems not and the above comments are correct!! Richard:cool2:
