  1. Many happy returns mate - have a great day!! Richard:happybday:
  2. That's coming along nicely mate.....
  3. Many happy returns mate!! Richard:happybday:
  4. Much better matey!! I'm not a real fan of the crystal lights - but I have to admit the later OEM lights really complement the fog light lenses:bow:
  5. LOL - I spotted that the other day when I tried to find you on the forum Jim!! Let me know if you want it changing!! Great to meet you Sunday BTW - and for the life of me I cannot remember whether the interior trim of your car (panels, not seats) is suede or tweed.... If it's a blue-ish suede-type material (alcantara) then it's a series 2; whereas if it is more like tweed and not so smooth to the touch, then it's an S1. Also the heater controls are different too; S1 cars have basic over-riding controls for fan speed only; along with a read-out for outside temperature. Whereas the S2 cars also had electronic adjustment for direction of the fan - and no display for outside temp. Oh - and as your's is a UK spec, it will only be S1 or S2 - so forget about later editions mate...!! Richard:thumbup:
  6. Good point Jeff.....
  7. Whatever contract you sign up for, I believe that 0800 numbers are not free when dialing from any mobile!! What I do know though, is that the AA has thought of that - IE that you are out in your car when you breakdown - so they have an alternative 0121 number to call.... Maybe the RAC has one as well.... Richard:balloon:
  8. Pics please Gary.......:hyper:
  9. I feel for you mate - but let it go; as having seen your current car on Sunday, it's a real cracker and better than the yellow one could ever have been!! It did have nice wheels though mate - but just be happy you moved on to a better ZX.... Richard:flowers:
  10. I was just reading that myself and thought of posting it up here too - for the same reasons as you Steamy..... I hope the fooker has contracted HIV as it'll teach the filthy scumbag a lesson:death:
  11. Ditto - great pics Si and thanks for sharing!! Please do post some pics of your ZX on the Millau Bridge - I too remember that TG episode very well.... Enjoy the rest of your hols my friend and have a safe journey back....!! Richard:rockon:
  12. Hi Dave, what about the wipes you get in Halfords for Sat-Nav screens - have you tried those? I use "Fellowes Laptop Screen Wipes" they come in a yellow sachet and Sainsburys sells them; I have had no issues with them and they're anti-static too so keeping the laptop free of dust for ages!! Richard:shuriken:
  13. Eeeek!! Glad you got it fixed though Ian - that doesn't look a bad job either mate!! Richard:balloon:
  14. Glad to hear it Si - and yes, I want pics as well - but I have to agree with you about how great the 300zx still is after all these years..... .....I am happier driving the ZX for many miles as it is still more comfortable than most cars; and I have no issues with the reliability either. I have a 4 year old German sports car (owned for 3 years now) and when I drive them back to back, I am still astounded by how small the gap between a 19 year old Nissan and a modern high-ish end MB really is!! It is a real testAment (note the correct spelling my friend) to how Nissan got the Z32 right all those years ago..... Richard:biggrin:
  15. Nice one Jeff - very useful post as always matey!! Richard:rockon:
  16. Heh heh - very good matey:rofl:
  17. Nice one Vods - keep it up matey..... ....and if you're no spring chicken then my goose is surely cooked by now.... Richard:flowers:
  18. Many happy returns Steve - have a great day mate!! Richard:happybday:
  19. Nice one Lee - thank you for your support mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  20. Yes indeed Ian... I believe Gaz and Lee are sorting some more as we speak..... Richard:balloon:
