  2. We had that before but JeffTT always won it......
  3. Good on you still Allan - and you have a year to get training for the GNR.....
  4. That is very funny mate - not sure if I need to remove the link though; just in case we get complaints.....
  5. Nice one Allan - are you getting sponsored for a charity or just doing it for your own achievement? Either way - best of luck matey!!! Richard:thumbup:
  6. Congratulations guys - shame I could not have been there myself this year - but never mind!! I was there in spirit.... Richard:thumbup:
  7. Very good..... ......made me think of this, for some reason..... Richard:rofl:
  8. Nope - he definitely wants to keep it himself. I'm sure he might even be selling his ZX to finance the purchase......
  9. The second bit mate..... .....I actually like the red seats - and I reckon that extending the red leather on the lower dash and lower door cards would look good (on the right colour car, of course). But the whole interior being red - and the red tweed.... No thanks:no: Richard:wink:
  10. I heard FunkySi is going to buy it as a daily driver.......
  11. Likewise mate..... .....And wasn't that only in the USA too? The pic is a LHD car that has been flipped - judging by the handbrake position and cruise button on the steering wheel:wink: Richard
  12. No prob Wayne - I guess I am preaching to the converted:wink: Richard:thumbup:
  13. My neighbour's teenage daughter sometimes sunbathes to..... .....no, best not say such things on an open forum....:tongue:
  14. He's probably thinking, my neighbour the crazy stalker - b@stard records me every time I go out for a drive..... .....Still I've got an Aston and he hasn't, so there.... Richard:lol:
  15. Nooo - way too much Mikey!! It's between 3.5 and 4 litres max; including the filter. So I'd say that to fill the oil cooler as well, then it'd be a little under 4. Put in 3.5 litres, crank the engine to fill the filter, prime the turbos and fill the cooler. Leave it 1/2 hour for the oil to settle back into the sump - it can take ages in a ZX - then re-check the level and add a little more if necessary. You should not need any more than 1/2 a litre, once the cooler is full... And Magnatec 10w40 is just fine too! Richard:rockon:
  16. That does indeed look a tidy car - thanks for sharing the pics Wayne!! One word of advice though - I can't quite make it out from the pictures, but do be careful where you jack the car if you're not using the standard jack!! It's best not to lift it by the seam under the sills as you will eventually bend the seam out of shape. And never jack it by the area under the front wings - as it can eventually cause the wings to "pop" proud of the rest of the bodywork!! Always make sure that your garage, tyre fitters etc. place the jack under a secure point on the chassis!! Richard:thumbup:
  17. Nice one Mandy - thanks for your continued support...... ......and you know you only did it to stay in the F1 comp!! I hope you got your predictions on in time yesterday:wink: Richard:thumbup:
  18. Sorry to hear that mate.... ....And whilst we can all say "lesson learned" and all that - the buyer still took a month and a half to cry non-receipt. If you can demonstrate that there was no communication from the buyer in that time, then I'd certainly be taking the issue up with Ebay. If I bought something and it didn't arrive after a week, then I'd be in regular contact with the seller until it did arrive - or until the seller sent another one. If he said nothing for 6-odd weeks, then take the chance and fight back. These fraudsters should not get away with it IMO:mad: Good luck buddy, Richard:clover:
  19. Heh heh - very good mate!! Richard:wink:
  20. Yup - I've also been!! We spent the last few nights of our honeymoon in Rome back in 2000; fantastic city and all the main attractions are in walking distance - it's quite a compact city and you'll love it Si! We stayed in a very nice hotel right in the city centre; although it was still quite peaceful - and the only time we needed transport was to get back to the airport. I had previously hired a car for touring Umbria, but that was collected from the hotel when we arrived back in Rome - and then the hotel laid on their own driver to return us to Davinci Airport when we left!! Richard:chef:
  21. Nice pics Rose - thanks for sharing:cool:
  22. Sorry to hear that mate - RIP Jess...
  23. Be careful what you wish for matey.... I might just do it....
  24. Me too - and I can just see you as an ogre with a scary perm!!! Richard:wink:
  25. Sorry to hear that Tom - I wish your lad all the best for a speedy recovery mate. And for a happy 10th birthday, even if he can't do all the things you planned for him. Richard:flowers:
