  3. Wow - you have a hidden tallent there!! Nice paint job Rose...
  4. Thanks for sharing Rose!! It would be good to see some pics of your progress and joint hard work too, Richard:rockon:
  5. Yup - that is the simple way..... ....It does mean though, that the HID dipped beam will also illuminate when you "flash" your headlights if dipped beam is off; but it is much simpler than wiring in the whole resistor thing!! As for the MOT, like it has been said above, it's all at the tester's discretion. And as the dipped lights are enclosed in the projector beam, it's unlikely that anyone will actually notice you have after market HIDs fitted - it's nothing like the Corsa boys who fit H4 replacements into a halogen lamp set-up which does very little else than blind all oncoming traffic!! Don't worry about headlamp washers either - I have a UK spec car and my headlamp washers have not worked in 4 years; but I have had no problem in passing 4 MOTs with HIDs and the washers not working!! Richard:shuriken:
  6. No probs rose - you're welcome!
  7. Done and done..... ....Just don't forget your username has been changed when you try to log in next time... Richard:thumbup1:
  8. No problem Rose - I'll (try to) sort it for you now!! And if I cannot, then I'll ask Lee to do the honours.... Richard:thumbup:
  9. Great pics Stevie - and everyone else - thank you for sharing!!! Richard:bow:
  10. Ahem, you're the REO for the region Lee.... ...So it's up to you to organise such events mate! Richard:flowers:
  11. Yup = what they said above..... Richard:shuriken:
  12. Nice one Nik - and any Z is welcome on our stand mate!! Sadly I cannot make this year's JAE myself though.... I was working on the original dates when I booked my hols, but the organisers moved it back a week to avoid clashing with another event, so I am on holiday for the duration of the revised dates. That'll teach me to be impetuous..... Richard:blush:
  13. Heh heh, dead right mate! It's not for sale...
  14. I hope so Gary....!!! I bought a 99-spec model in red a few years back at Japshow, Santa Pod; only cost me in the region of £5-10 IIRC.... It's a bloody good model too; doors, bonnet and boot open and the engine/interior detail are superb. Hell, if they're going up, I might just sell it... Richard:thumbup:
  15. Nice work Mikey...... .....And good news re your car Dave!! Richard:thumbup:
  16. As title - is it me, or does it seem that car insurance prices have got a bit more sensible again this year...? Mine (2009 Merc SLK 350 daily driver) and Julia's (2006 Rav-4 XTR) insurance are up for renewal in a couple of weeks and I have been quoted the very reasonable premiums of £253 and £191 respectively!! That's both with Admiral - FC with protected NCB, courtesy car and legal cover included, plus reasonable excesses too!! Result... Richard:rockon:
  17. LOL....... ....And has anyone done a Cheryl Cole then.....:hurl: Richard:no:
  18. It's looking great Ian - can't wait to see the finished results mate:bow:
  19. Looks like another successful meet Rich!! Thanks for sharing the pics mate... Richard:cool:

  21. Hi Martin, welcome back mate - some of the old faces are still around, if a little older.... Agreed - it was one of my favourites, and sadly I have not seen it on the forum either:sad: Richard:cool2:
  22. Probably Ollie..... .....I didn't look at all your pics mate:oops: Richard:flowers:
  23. Heh heh..... No!! But thank you for your continued support mate!! Richard:thumbup:
